So my gf started playing just the other day, got her to alcy and got the bioethics quest done. Got her the job levels she needed to start leveling her homunculus. Everything else has ran normal on her character and everything. But when she tries to summon a homunc from an embryo, it uses up the embryo summons a homunc and she disconnects. When she logs back in the server doesn't register that she even had a homunc, and we have to use another embryo.

 

At first I just thought it was her comp and she might need to re-install Ragnarok. However I decided to no go through the trouble of all of that and see if it would work on my computer. Now the really confusing part is that the SAME thing happens on my computer, but all 6 of my alcys have homucs, and they have never had that problem. I even tried using all of my other alcys to see if they would get disconnected but none of them are having this problem.

 

Does anybody know whats wrong? If it can be fixed, and if so how would I go about fixing it?

Do it outside of town, homun stuff is bugged in towns since last week maint. I don't think anything about the homun gets saved in pront (and possibly elsewhere) now.

Interesting, I read that other thread about this too. 

 

Do you have a spare alchy to test some stuff with? 

 

I.E. : create homunculus outside town, let it starve and run away inside prontera, relog and see if it comes back OR feed in prontera and see if after relogging intimacy was / was not recorded ( and if not use this to bully the GMs for another loyalty event " for the poor alchies that don't read the forums"  ) 

 

It could be interesting to see just what data does and does not get saved, as well as possibly help pinpoint what part of the DB isn't getting updated.  Unfortunately I don't have a alchy left with a low enough level homunculus to delete....
