*****************************:Introduction:*****************************
______________________________________________________________

Welcome to my Guide. Feel free to stop reading this if your not intrested in pvp.
Thats it for the Intro.

______________________________________________________________

*****************************:Stat Building:*****************************
______________________________________________________________

Hlt = Health
Agi = Agility
Int = Intelligence
Str = Strength

Hlt > Agi > Int > Str

Health is a must if you want to survive more than 2 combos in pvp.

Agility is good, It can also be easily stacked. With the level 61 and level 67 along with some cash
gears you can easily obtain 150+ evade.

Intelligence is useless as we already have
A decent mana pool.

Strength Is literally useless just as it is for all other classes.

Any stat points you earn from levels 61-65 will go into either HLT, or AGI depending
on if you want a mix, or full HLT/AGI build.

______________________________________________________________

*****************************:Soul Craft Building:*****************************
______________________________________________________________

Hlt > Agi > Int > Str.

Aim Rate on Back piece, Rings, Belt, Necklace, and Earrings.

Aim Rate is just as important as health in pvp. The minimum aim you should have during any
pvp battle should be at least 170 Aim rate if you plan to group pvp.

During a 1v1 match, you can change your Aim Rate accordingly to whatever class you play
against.(ie. Less Aim Rate vs Warrior classes, More for Archer class)

_____________________________________________________________

*****************************:Skills:*****************************
_____________________________________________________________

Welcome to the heart of the guide where many of you will spend MOST of your time reading.

These are all my opinions based on my experience as to what skills I think
are important and useful.

Layout:

[Skill Name] [Level of skill]

{skill description}

(Description of Importance)

==========================================================
-Thief Skills-

--------------------------------
Launches enemies into air.

Won't ever be used unless for messing around.

--------------------------------
[Aerial Frenzy] [1/5]
--------------------------------
Airborne Spin attack that damages enemies.

Any higher than level one, it becomes a waste of skill points.

somersault kick, launches enemies.

Useless.

level three for knock up. Useful in certain situations, and surprise attacks
like air dashing then using cutdown.

--------------------------------
[Rocket Punch] [5/5]

Fire a Rocket propelled Punch Glove. Causes stun status.

For stun. If you can, get this skill to level Ten as the chance to stun is 95%.
(requires +skill point item from daily hunter quest for level 10)

--------------------------------
[Nozzle Tuning] [0/5]
--------------------------------

same as above, unless your going evade/agi build then it needs to be level one as
its a prerequest skill for dexterity.

--------------------------------
[Dexterity] [0/5]
--------------------------------
Increases AGI

In my opinion, leave this at 0 unless your going evade/agi build, in that case
get this skill to level ten if possible.(requires +skill point item from daily hunter quest for level 10)

==========================================================
-Bandit Skills-
==========================================================

--------------------------------
[Exit] [1/5]
--------------------------------
Hide in a box and escape.

You don't need this higher than level one, anymore and your wasting points.

--------------------------------
[Burrow] [1/5]
--------------------------------
Burrow Underground.

Useful for dodging attacks, use wisely as cooldown time is 20 secs. Any higher than
level one and your wasting points as it only decreases mp consumption.

--------------------------------
[Rolling Stinger] [1/5]
--------------------------------
Emit electricity to attack nearby enemies.

Useless as any class can easily escape it with the right skill, keep at level One.

--------------------------------
[Final Decision] [5/5]
--------------------------------
Spin like a top, Damages Standing enemies only.

Most useful skill in the entire skill list for bandits. Also one of the most
strongest skills you can get in the entire class branch.

--------------------------------
[Upper Screw Driver] [5/5]
--------------------------------
Dragon upper cut attack. Launches enemies.

Max level for extra damage, you can however keep it at level four if you want
to save skill points.

--------------------------------
[Claw Mastery ] [0/5]
--------------------------------
Increases Attack

You don't need this skill, upgrading your weapon will suffice.

--------------------------------
[ESP] [5/5]
--------------------------------
Increase Dodge rate

Higher level increases Duration. With motion capture, you reduce damage along with getting evade.

--------------------------------
[Motion Capture] [5/5]
--------------------------------
Increases Dodge Rate and Decreases damage while ESP is in effect.

Must have skill whether or not you stack evade, 10% damage reduction helps massively.

--------------------------------
[Hyper Strength] [0/5]
--------------------------------
Increases STR

Useless.

--------------------------------
[Intelligence] [0/5]
--------------------------------
Increases INT

Useless.

==========================================================

Leave it at Three for maximuim height knock up, max it if you want extra damage.

--------------------------------
[Stance] [5/5]
--------------------------------
Increases Attack, and Defence.

Alot of people say this skill sucks, In my opinion, its extremely useful as it provides
extra Physical defence per level. I personally will take any chance I can get to reduce
damage.

--------------------------------
[Sonic Boom] [1/5]

Laughable skill, you won't EVER use it. Keep it at level one its a prerequest.

Lv. Req: 67
2 Piece Set Effect: AGI+46
3 Piece Set Effect: Evade Rate +16

If your dead set on going for a full Agi/Evade build, then you must have the Thief Skill "Dexterity" maxed out or level 10 if you can.

Soul Craft Armor pieces with agility, and set your stat points you gain from levels 61+
all into agility.

Stack some Evade/Agi accessories, along with aim and you can easily achieve over 150 evade. It's preffered if you get aim first, then Soul Craft Agi/Evade later.

*Critical Damage*
=================

Undead Bone Rogue Set [Full Set]
Lv. Req: 60

2 Piece Set Effect: HP +1000
3 Piece Set Effect: Move +25%
5 Piece Set Effect: Agi +45
6 Piece Set Effect: Crit Dam +90%

A Critical Damage weapon is a must for this build. Stack as much aim as possible if you go this route,
criticals can only happen as long as you're able to hit your opponent.

As for the armor pieces, you can go either Agility, or Health. Agility if you want more criticals/aim, or Health if you want to tank hits. All stat points you earn from lv 61+ will go into either agility for higher critical chance, or health for more hp.

If your willing to spend money, definitely invest in an Item Mall critial damage weapon, critial damage back, and a shoulder piece that adds 15% critical damage which is easily another 50-60% total.

Soul Crafting Critical Damage on any Aim accessories(back, belt, rings, earrings, necklace) should be done last as it can be costy to Soul Craft as you would need to buy souls(or farm, whichever you prefer), soul reducers, or soul randomizers.

This is a very helpful guide! Now all it needs it a link to a guide that shows the set pieces (as in; shows what they add for the set options) and then it's perfect~

Already took that into consideration. Most rogues will probably be casual players, not hardcore IM point, or gold spenders(aka hardcore pvpers); Aim set, rings, belt, earrings, necklace, back, and weapon would only grant you about 190 aim rate. Of course this is excluding IM sets and massive agility stacking.

Also, I highly doubt you'd need 200+ aim to hit warrior/mage class characters in group pvp. I don't
think any Rogue would be stupid enough to try and take on a PF, or Ninja as they can just aas spam, or sleep you.

Thanks for your feedback though.

One thing you forget to mention is positioning is nearly top priority for a harle.

We're also a reactive class - there were plenty of moves you could have easily dodged/avoided in the video you showed.
Although the points you made in the vid were very valid and I applaud you for it - some of them were poorly executed. Yes it is situational but you do want to get into the habit of getting cleaner 100% win hits instead of "trading off" blows against say... a PF.

OT: Good job.

I would like to know why that ninja is so bad as to roll into the direction you dash in when it's already obvious that you are dashing in that direction. Also, it's possible to get out by simply burrowing. It doesn't really work against any class with movespeed, either.

^

However, if you're playing against a class with no MSPD, you can just wait till you see where they roll, and dash over to FD. Ninjas might only get hit by part of it due to swift, but you can easily roll and RP or USD.

And I honestly wouldn't trade off blows with any archer class using level 5 RP... not until we get crazy soul. FD would be nice, since you can just AR without any direction and USD immediately upon landing.

Oh and I have pretty terrible gears atm at level 58, and I have easily 220 aim without a backpiece, and without vries wings/immo gloves.

You guys do realize these were casual matches right? I wouldn't use dark set for real matches, I'd be using Bone set along with my LO. I'm also pretty sure that ninja didn't go all out just because rogues were nerfed pretty badly, post 4th job patch.

Oh and I have pretty terrible gears atm at level 58, and I have easily 220 aim without a backpiece, and without vries wings/immo gloves.

My lvl 65 Rogue barely reaches 194 aim with dark set, aim weapon, skeleton bandage, aim back(9.8%), x2 aim rings, aim necklace, aim earrings, and an aim belt. All of which have 6% or 7% aim. Then again I am using a HLT build...

I can probably guess your exact equipment gear along with your cash equips, But to save me some time. Your probably stacking full agility with every piece of armor you have including cash gears, aim cash weap, and loot ballon. Not to mention that 7% agi bonus for water/fire guardian set is pretty OP since they already add +10 agi/hlt for almost every piece.

Yes it is situational but you do want to get into the habit of getting cleaner 100% win hits instead of "trading off" blows against say... a PF.

That video was made in anticipation for 4th job(hence why you'd WANT to trade blows with crazy soul) if you guys didn't catch on. You'll hardly get any chances for clean hits against a good PF especially if they know good trap placement and have super high movespeed.

Give me back my wep when you hit 65, I'm gonna use it to get some sigils >.<

@Unown, consider including the CP sets whenever you get the stats for them, iirc they give avi/evade%, evade% being double the +evade of the equivalent dark set piece.
