They need to do more quests like the one with Old Payon and Old Morroc.  That one was actually fun.

im up to around 450 points so far... still working on the first tier kill count

652 point doing both quests and turning in the books and plans I found during the process

 

Total time about 3 hours (with a few little breaks )

 

Both quests have a 12 h cool down, but seeing 652 points in 3 hours while only 150 come from the quests...

I got job exp turning in the second tier quest as well. About 1.5m at 150/43. @_@

The fact that the 2nd tier monsters give no experience only some finished quest experience really sucks, especially since you cant mob them.

um... im getting exp from the 2nd tier monsters... its all going to my guild but its there...

I was getting EXP from them earlier too. My Warlock gained 2.1%, at level 141, while killing them. Killed around 400 total(was hunting all three types since each member of the party had a different one to hunt).

actually I did gain some, except since I can't mob them very slow

im actually using HE gum while doing the kill counts because even tho it might be a waste up front,  it actually going to save me a day's session.  ill have the hat tommorrow while putting in abou 2.5 hours a day on this bs.

After an hour of killing giants i only got 115 points(low lvl so i cant do the 2nd tier one),that is including the drops i books and maps i got....so imho its not really worth the grind

Any ss of the hat and stats? Im just curious if its worth it making one since most people arent too excited how the quest works.

I've said it before and will say it again...

 

If luis we're doing this quest it wouldn't be repetitive or grindy.

 

He would use his grabby hands and work hard all day and all night at it, and make it work.

 

Personally, I don't have luis' drive, so I wait for a proper guide, and wait and hope, (wait some more) that the quest reward isn't -_-ty.

is the screenshot of the hat from THIS server? there are like 3 or 4 different versions ive seen of the Red Beret... one is even slotted... it would be nice to have an accurate description of it... also has anybody found out what badges they are asking for?
