If i were to make "Black Thing" can I just burn any piece of food?
Recipe would be like "Grab any food item and burn it to a crisp"
Serious note: interesting event idea Cein. Interested to see what people come up with.

So what's stopping me from buying something from a restaurant and presenting a bogus recipe? Are you guys going to require step by step pictures to prove I legitimately made it?
Posted 13 June 2014 - 05:48 PM
This sounds like it could be really fun. I'll see if I can't manage to make something delicious.

Too bad we can't have tasting contest.. xD to make sure it was edible and tasty. I bet Oda and the crew would love to judge the taste...

Huh? Well... maybe...
I am going to make strawberry rice balls properly later, I've just gone out and bought all the ingredients. That rice ball was the prototype (I've never made rice balls before ^^).

Do you have a list of iro food or a website that shows all the sprites?
Posted 14 June 2014 - 04:13 AM
http://db.irowiki.or...consume-search/
Give this a try. Consumable search, cooked food search, etc.
Edit: Their item sprites are unfortunately less detailed than the right click images, but they should be sufficient.

I was thinking of making handmade udon noodles and making the Lutie Cold Noodles or the Smooth Noodle soup. Peach cake and Chocolate Mousse is definitely yelling at me too. Too much to decide between.

Strawberry Flavored Rice Ball
Ingredients
-'Sticky' Rice
-Black Sesame Seeds
-Strawberry Flavoring
-Red Food Colouring
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Boil 360~ ml of water. While waiting for the water to boil cut a square sized sheet of Cling Film.
Step 2: Add about two or three handfuls of rice to the boiling water. Turn the temperature down, so the water is simmering, then place a lid over the top of the saucepan.
Step 3: After the rice has boiled drain all the water using whatever you like, I used a sieve. Put the rice in a bowl.
Step 4: Add one capful of Strawberry Food Flavouring to the rice.
Step 5: Add a few drops of Red Food Coloring, you will have to judge how much you need based on how much rice you have. Food coloring is strong and spreads a long way, I used 4 drops to color my rice.
Step 6: Mix it all together very well, make sure all the food coloring is mixed properly. My food colouring turned a light pinky purply colour after stirring a bit I the rice had that... sticky gooey white stuff on it and it influenced the food dye colour.
Step 7: Using a tablespoon put the rice into the clingfilm square you prepared earlier.
Step 8: Grab all four corners of the clingfilm and pull them together. Twist the clingfilm bagged rice so it's nice and firm in the clingfilm. Do not twist to much otherwise the clingfilm will burst or split. Try to form it into a diamondish shape (http://www.clipartbe...b/KTjeBbaAc.png).
Step 9: Unwrap the rice that is now classed as a rice ball and using a large spoon dish it onto a place. Place a strip of seaweed on the plate, when you put the riceball on top of the seaweed wrap the seaweed around it, the seaweed is there so you can pick the riceball up with your thumb and forefinger. So... my riceball fell apart as it was dished up on the plate, it was too wet. I should have steamed the rice and not boiled it, however I'm inexperience and am not to confident in my rice chef skills, using a fork I made the wreckage into a triangle shape.
Step 10: Eat! It tasted really good, the strawberry flavor was really nice.
I hope this qualifies as an entry! I know it doesn't look exactly like the right click image but it's really hard to do something like that and I am a very bad rice cook lol. ^_^
