Hi guys. I need some help on leveling up.
Lvl 152/ 45 DB RK

 

"Gears"

 

Headgear:

+9 Maestro RWH ( aka Rideword Hat with Carat Card

Fatasm Miniglasses ( Incubus Card )

Long octopus balloon

 

Armor

+4 Diabolus armor of Ares ( peco peco card )

 

Weap

+9 Double Kingbird TGL EA8 ( aka Tae Goo Lyeon with 2x Arche Skeleton Cards, Expert Archer 3 and 5 )

 

Garment

+9 Immune HBP ( aka Heroic Backpack with Raydric Card )

 

Foot gear

+9 Superior Dex Temporal Boots ( Firelock soldier card )

 

Accessories

Teleport Ur's Seal ( creamy card ) with SP+150 and MDEF+4 

Ur's seal of spore ( Spore card ) with SP+150 and VIT+1

 

Costume:

Just a regular +4 shadow set + goggles

 

Pet:

Succubus ( When summoned, while physically attacking, physical damage done to enemy, 5% will transfer as your HP )

 

My HP 52005/ SP 2162

 

 

I'm doing 50k damage on weaker element monsters ( e.g Dragon Breath vs Earth Elem Monsters or Water Dragon Breath vs Fire Elem Monsters )

but on the other hand, I'm only doing 25k Damage on non Fire or Water monsters.

 

I've been to parties on and off from 99 to 150 ( mainly cause of Ti ). Never been in a pt yet post 150.

Currently solo leveling in scaraba duns. Hit and run strat, with pots of course and faith in the power or HP SP leech RNG

 

My main concern is, will my items be enough to get to 175? or do I have to change/ upgrade my items just get there ( 175 ) faster? Like FAW ( Fallen Angel Wings with menblatt and expert archer enchants )?

Do I have to use a Battle Manual x3 all the time ( I only use it when I'm about to turn in my 150 hunt quests ).

 

Lastly, it would be nice if someone would be able to put up with me til I get to 175 LOL!

 

P.S. I put the actual item names as much as I can after the shortcut cause I want everyone ( e.g a returning player like me or newbies ) to understand what they're reading. There's too much jargon in here that only above casual players would understand. I for one started out as a casual 12 years ago and I never got committed til now. I want the nostalgia effect and to get to the max level cause I never got to 99 back then haha! Thanks in advance and another thank you for reading til this part

Ok I will try again if bio lab is the best or only way to go  ... Cause when I looked for a pt in Lhz, I only saw 1 guy that's looking for an RK. What's worse is that it's a bio 4 pt only.  . I'll try my luck again and see if there are people that would like to grind in bio 1 or 2.  I have a Fallen Angel Wing but it has crit ( 423 ) enchants and petal card on it cause it's meant to be my end game garment. I want to reset my RK from DB type to AGI CRIT type once I hit 175 or if I get bored just til 160 ( so that I could wear the hero plate ). Anyway  for replying. .

that's one of the fastest way to 175, bio4 party, do the entrance quest so that you can join that party.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume you're planning to reset to DB RK soon (EA FAW).

 

Option 1 - higher burst damage but slower re-use

40m   4xAS Mace

3m     Ur's Seal - need 2 pcs. You can make your own Ur's Seal and enchant it yourself by doing Mora Dailies. Target is SP+150/SP+100

250m +9 bungisngis turkey
15m   +4 Fledged Temporal Dex boots

311m total

 

Option 2 - lower burst damage but faster re-use

300m-ish +9 2 x Archer Skeleton Tae Goo Leon Expert Archer 9
10m 2x Expert Rings
15m   +4 Fledged Temporal Dex boots

335m total

 

I'm afraid 300m is only going to provide this much gears. For the HG, you can switch between vana and turkey for HP/SP leech.
Go get your complete set of shadow gears from the -_-roaches found on towns. Now's the perfect time to upgrade them to decent levels.

I am new to Enchanting and this is way too much for my head .  Why it has to be so complicated.

My Knight is making progress, and I know I should get high EA upgrades.

 

But I never done this before.

Should I buy the Items overpriced directly or try to enchant myself?

Should enchanting be done before upgrading?

 

How do I know generally what EA lvl and how many enchants an Item can get?

 

 

 

Speaking of the Following items:

+9 Tae Goo Lyeon [2] w/Archer Skeleton Card

9 FAW [1]

+9 DEX Temporal Boots

 

 

gues Vanaguard and Glorious Suit arnt enchantable.

Enchants depend on the type of item. These three actually has different enchant mechanics.

For FAW, it's 1M z per reset. It has to be +9 so that you can put 3 enchants in it. Perfect is EA4/3/3. Not too costly.

For the TGL, it's done on malangdo. EA9 is ok. Perfect is EA12 but very expensive. Each EA is 2% ranged damage so that's 6% difference but a very huge price gap.

For temporal dex boots, it's better to have the slotted one and put hp/sp increasing cards. Best one is +9 dex boots with firelock soldier card

How much Agi/Str do I Need for PVM? I got one of 3 sets I cant decide.

Is there a reason for 80 Agi? Maybe some softcap or is it needed to get 193 aspd buffed on lvl 175?

Gues when I hit 80 agi today after 1-2 Bio4 runs I have 10% Bonus.

I made my EA1EA2 Sarah on the second attempt, and all guildies I talked with about them also said that they got theirs really fast.

Unless I derped with the numbers somewhere, assuming 100+ base Dex:

 

EA1EA2EA4 FAW + 2x Fairy:

2% + 4% + 8% = 14% range dmg from FAW enchants

2 * (2% + 5%) = 14% range dmg from 2x Fairy

5% + 5% = 10% range dmg from EA 1 and EA2 combos

5% + 5% = 10% reduced cast delay from 2x Fairy

5% + 5% = 10% reduced cast delay from EA1 and EA2 combos

2 * 2 Dex from 2 Fairy

 

=>

14% + 14% + 10% = 38% range damage,

10% + 10% = 20% reduced cast delay and

4 Dex

 

 

EA3EA3EA4 FAW + 1 Fairy + 1 Sarah EA1EA2:

6% + 6% + 8% = 20% range dmg from FAW enchants

2% + 4% = 6% range dmg from EA1EA2 Sarah

2% + 5% = 7% range damage from Fairy

5% + 5% = 10% range damage from EA1 and EA2 combos

5% reduced cast delay from 1 Fairy

5% + 5% = 10% reduced cast delay from EA and EA2 combos

2 Dex from 1 Fairy

Heal lvl 1 or Teleport lvl 1 from Sarah (depends on whether you choose left or right)

 

=>

20% + 6% + 7% + 10% = 43% range damage,

5% + 10% = 15% reduced cast delay,

2 Dex,

either Teleport or Heal lvl 1 and

no need to reenchant your perfect EA FAW

 

 

When you have strings you'll obviously want to pick the higher % range damage, because cast delay is a non issue.

Same if you have 2x Kiels, cause both setups can get you to 100% cast delay in that case.

If you solo pick whichever you perfer. :v

I'm rolling with the Sarah setup on my DB RK because I honestly don't feel the 5% difference between 62% and 67% cast delay reduction (using +12 HWHB clean, New Wave Sunglasses and +9 TGL).

Maybe I would if I had a single Kiel, as that would mean 92% vs 97%, but eh. I don't have a Kiel.

I also didn't want to ruin my EA10 FAW or get a new FAW.

What armor are you guys wearing? If you're solo, the best option is 1 Fairy + Sarah with delay after skill, lvl2/3 or lvl2/2 (2/2 is not that hard). With +12 hwhb, new wave sunnies, tgl, Medical Scrubs, and FAW EA4/2/1 you have at least 80% reduction, which is quite noticeable. Single dmg won't be fantastic, but overall the dps will increase. Then swap to a better armor and usual db gears under strings. The only drawback is that if you share your faw with other classes, you might not want to reset it. Or get another one.
