sorry if this makes ppl mad but I think I found a bug

 

Me and galaxyqueen went to el verloon desert to the temple oblivion, had to pay 30mil zulie in donations....when we left to sell stuff I went back to go back in and the npc wanted 40mil more zulie in donations...so it goes up 10mil everytime u leave temple oblivion? or is it supposed to be like that?

 

That would be an in-game issue, not something related to the update itself.

 

Things that might be potential bugs like that, being game related and not a mechanical issue, is something we can deal with down the line. If it isn't causing gross economic destruction or server crashes, it isn't considered a 'game stopper'

just sayin... I had gone back to OT to try to finish up my quest to open the portal guy for Orlo (i think that's how you do it? lol) and so I went to junon and some guy gave me money and i ran back to OT and put in the 40M to open it up this afternoon (prolly 8 hours ago or so?) when I was talking to the NPC he was saying it was like 40M to keep it open for a month and they were taking donations 1M at a time, so maybe that's just how OT gets opened/stays opened??

Why the servers are "Currently crashing" as in, the latest crash, is being looked in to. It takes some time to review the crash report when they occur. The problem is, is that it only takes one thing to crash the server, and any other "things" that could crash the server, don't get to and once the first crash is fixed, those other things still exist because we're not aware of it.

 

Now some crashes, are more wide spread, where we can see if it happened in one instance, we can relate it to others. But for unique crashes, it's an 'as happens' case of fixing.

 

There were some hardware issues on Friday, that were taken care of that initiated some extra downtime, but beyond that it has been the DB update.

 

The character roll-back is to address certain broken inventories and storage contents, more than anything, which we're going to do once we've determined the servers are once again stable. To do so before then, would result in further crash issues and potentially more damaged inventories from the errors left unattended.

 

And SlowBob explained pretty well, we we can't update it in smaller chunks.

Leonis server went down a few hours ago for me while I was checking out a glitch with storage - and I couldn't log back in

 

So I went and caught up with some tv and youtube - but Rose is still down
