If you go for pure damage, then get 400CHA rest INT/SEN stat build along with some 30CHA 8MP recovery sub-stat. But anyways, I just updated this portion to my guide since many people were asking for it.


GEAR selection

Depends if you go for PvP or PvM in this game and what level is your mage at, my guide is aiming for people at Lv.230, (if you are not 230, then go for the related level gears, but don't bother with PvP unless you are exactly 230, so just keep playing PvM untill Lv.230), and do not mix up the mentioned gear across each category because they have severe adverse effect due to the PvP/PvM % bonus.



PvP gear

Full chivalrous orlean set (mine has a Tanzanite 7 but I prefer T7/B7/saggi), orlean backshield, hiria's tear T7 or B7 (depends on if you have the 400stat on INT or CHA), style sunglasses. And the stat and jewelery combination, you'll have to find yourself few pieces of movement speed item so that your m-speed is 1500+ buffed by +60CHA level cleric buffs. For example, my mage use the thing mentioned along with typhoon Sagittarius ring/earring, and then 60dodge 40mspeed on style sunglasses, orlean backshield.

Unless you are talking about head-on PvP, in that case you don't need any m-speed items at all, just get all the 30CHA 8MP recovery stat, that stat is the best stat for mages offensive-wise, better than 30INT (equivalent to a T7, not to mention 30INT stat doesn't even exist) Or, you can get 15INT 10MP recovery, 15AP 50def, 25AP 50crit, these are also excellent stat for head on PvP.

PvM gear

Full brave orlean set, orlean backshield, hiria's tear T7 or B7 (depends on if you have the 400stat on INT or CHA), style sunglasses. And the stat and jewelery combination, you wanna maximize your damage output, but this time I would not recommend going for 30CHA 8MP because, monster generally have little magic resistance, your aural pierce is very likely to hit the cap (making them 10mdef) already. So, you can go for 20INT, 15AP 50def, 25AP 50crit, 60dodge 40mspeed, 30CHA 8MP recovery are all good. For example, my mage did not bother with PvM gear except only a set of Brave orlean set, then just use everything I use on PvP, then you will be good to go.

What I'm using now is chiva B7 and nature force ring and ear ring and hiria all T7s and 70cha sunglasses my stats are 400int 370cha 200sen so literally mage's skills rely on cha and not int right??

Oh correction I have 620 int 370cha 200sen with all my gears equipped.

If you want more acc and large mana shield gauge, go INT.
If you want more damage and stronger mana burn effect, go CHA.

Mana burn is useless for PvM btw, so you need to tell me if you are PvM or PvP
