The game is 10 years old. I think your expecting a little much.

It's also been being developed actively for 10 years, if anything, I expect too little...

The client is still the same as it was 10 years. You can only "develope" so much, until you need to upgrade.

I think we've all had our fun and misery with this wooden cart with a V8 engine. People can expect to have the performance of a completely new and reworked client, but they will be very disappointed. It simply won't work.

That's not even remotely what I was talking about.

 

I was talking about the fact that there has been ten years, a decade, for them to realize that when they add something completely NEW, they should monitor the usage/feed they get from it, to make sure it's lining up with their 'estimations'. It's not a hard task.... 

 

And before anyone says "they're a small team and they're busy" this type of task requires time for the logs to be compiled accurately, you the main thing that needs to be tracked is

• average Clan Points being generated by all clans
• consecutive monthly purchases of temporary skills

This is going to take several months to compile, what's being asked for is that they START the logging process, and they have months before they should take any action. They have plenty of time...

You've also had at least that much time to realize you shouldn't be so vague.

I have a suggestion for you Feuer. You should go to school for game development, or become a lawyer. You're obviously tired of the way the "small team" is running things, and you should broaden your horizons and start your own game. Then let us come comment on your performance and judgment.

As I suggested, you should go manage your own game.

If it takes you 10 years to learn the required skills, then so be it. I think you would be more comfortable having power, and being able to decide what happens, where, when, and how.

I'd love to continue this pointless chatter [as anyone is more comfortable when they're in control....] but that's not the point. I'm not the only one who takes this seriously, I didn't even start this thread. I merely contributed my point of view.
