.hi guys im new in ro2 after playing for a few days i heard a lot of negative comments being a monk but still i think this is my calling can anyone help me and tell me if this build would be good in terms of damage and survivability 19/19/50 str/int/agi? would this be on par,better or worst than a 40/40 str/int build basing on the last patch? will this build be feasible if i dont spend $$$ on my character or this would take me a couple of bucks to make this work? thank you in advance guys!

go full VIT build dude.

 

VIT for monk= survivability for being a tank and cant be easily to take down during PVP.

 

str and agi = you can get this through your gears especially weapon.

 

I'll suggest, you'll start to invest good blueseed and bloodseed runes for your gears especially ML 30 gears. 

 

in the other side, what negative comment?

 

yeah monk dps are sucks but very good in tanking and pvp.

 

dont mind them they are people you can call noobs. every class has its own advantage and weakness, but the problem of this noobs are they cant see that. or they are sucks on playing there own class(this only for PVP).

As far as I understand Monk is like Tank DPS (though I treated it as DPS that can Tank). Monk can get benefits from 4 different stats (Str, Agi, Vit, and Int) so I figured it will be hard to spend the pts.

At the end my stat is full Agi, thehee

 

Just because the stats strat is pretty much insignificant compared to what I can get from gears so I try to make the investment as significant as I could. Well, turn out it wasn't that bad without even need to use/spend on her dodge skill.

Str, Agi, Vit are all good. Do not distribute into int at all. My build isn't exactly cookie cutter and is more suited to my play style, but regardless of play style, it's a waste to distribute into int.

Go full STR EZPZ G Fist is guaranteed crit on a knockdown opponent and come on g fist devours all....

 

but if you care about being tanky... go full VIT = i think it's 13 hp and 2 defense per point ?!?!  dat -_- is op.

dud as you mentioned above, "feasible if you don't spend $$$", for sure you'll spend thousand of zeny or $$$ for honing scrubs. 

 

you can try this 100/125/100(str/agi/vit) i tested this in colo and outside its working. (using ML30 gears)

 

that 100 str are intended for colo only.

 

that 125 agi for extra dodge, very essential in PVP 

 

that 100 vit for extra vit and defense in colo and outside.

 

In my experience, even full str monk cant 1 shot a tanky class, so its about who's more tougher    

 

I suggest to play with your stat for your prefered game style.
