Hi, i've been getting this problem for long period of time, very time i try to open up the game and Alt Tab to do something else I would get mouse lag, issue can be resolved after exiting, and the problem will double if i open 2 games at once, I have a really decent/good computer with GTX750TI,i5-2k, logictechg502 mouse, is there any solution to this problem? is been bugging me since day 1, please help!

Untick Mouse Exclusive that should do the trick.

Sounds like a Random Access Memory problem (RAM).
As always you can make sure your drivers are all up to date.

It's not clear what you're describing here.
Is it:
With one client running, when you are using a different application, the mouse lags and performance is generally crap, and will not get better until you exit the client
or
With one client running, when you switch to a different application, the mouse lags and performance is bad for a while, but gets better without exiting the client (though it would return when you went back to the game).
While you are experiencing the lag, is the HDD access light on solid (or blinking furiously), or not active?
If you're on Windows 7 or later, run the resource monitor (ctl+shift+esc, performance tab, resource monitor). Leave the performance tab of task manager open, and make sure view -> CPU History -> 1 graph per cpu is selected. Reproduce the problem, and in resource monitor, check memory usage, and "Hard Faults/sec". Also see if CPU usage spikes on any of the cores when you're experiencing the lag.
Also, please post specs - Operating System, Processor, graphics card and RAM.
Right now, I think the most likely cause is lag from swapping data between RAM and virtual memory - this happens when you don't have enough RAM (some vendors are selling Windows 8 systems with only 4GB of RAM...), so windows has to shuffle data between RAM and HDD, which has a huge performance penalty associated with it.
Also, I've moved this to the tech support section.
In any event, the problem is not related to the mouse itself; mouse lag almost invariably indicates system lag, the mouse is just where it's most noticable.

I have problems some times. Once in a while, my buttons don't work. I can move my mouse, but can't click on anything. Usually, just alt+tabbing fixes it. Still annoying though.

It's a windows 7 thing. You basically cannot click back into RO. You have to alt tab back. If you do click back on accident, alt tab to something else and click all 3 mouse buttons to fix it. Then TAB back into RO.

This is totally unrelated. OP has described lag, you are describing the mouse-click bug (after changing maps, sometimes RO seems to lose the ability to detect mouse click events on Windows 7 and later. This can be worked around by alt+tab out and back in. Also, the longer the game has been running, the less frequently this issue occurs.

i have 8GB ram, window7, i5-2300 2.8GHZ, graphics card of GTX750TI
This happens only to Ragnarok, it takes a 275,176k memory, compare to google chrome is takes 225,174k memory, it doesnt happen when i play games like battlefield, tera, league, so i dont think memory is the problem here, Ragnarok exclusive. please help azzy!

I found this reply typed in, but not posted, from last week...
So if you do not exit the game, the performance of other applications will be impacted indefinitely?
Is the performance of the game itself okay, or does that also lag?
Does this problem start immediately upon starting the game, or does it have to be running a few minutes for it to start? (I have seen this behavior, which wound up being due to the processor overheating - RO is real good at heating up CPUs - which caused it to throttle the processor to control heat, resulting in disastrous performance degradation)
Does CPU usage look as expected? Ctrl+shift+esc to start task manager, you should see RO taking 20-25% of CPU time (100% or near 100% on one of the 4 cores on that CPU), and in the performance tab (with view -> CPU History -> 1 graph per cpu is selected) you should see one core near 100%, and the other three at or near zero.
Try with and without mouse exclusive (sometimes that has unexpected interactions)
Finally, try choosing different graphics modes (first menu in setup) - this rarely fixes anything, but it's worth trying.

I don't know if this will help you, but it helps me every time. While in RO, press Ctrl+S. I am using Win 7 Prof 64-bit, 8GB RAM. Please let us know if it helps you too.
