It seems like the problem laid with my Framework which had to be updated but windows was failing to install the update every time I rebooted, it must have been corrupted. So I did a few things to try to work around this, first I downloaded and patched the client on a computer at work, I then uploaded that patched client the entire Gravity folder and all into my usb and downloaded it on to the computer I was having trouble on to begin with and then I backed up my files and reset my computer to its factory settings. ( after which of course, I updated all drivers and software as needed )
I'm now playing in the world Ragnarok woohoo!
