Can anyone help me. I am getting this error every single time I try and choose Ymir and enter it. It is the first time I have played in about 6 months if that would make a difference

Edit: I also tried it and quickly pressed the left and right arrow keys. I found that I couldn't see any of my characters in the menu. Not sure what this is. When I choose the YGG server I can get to the character screen, I do not have any characters on there though.

This is happening to me too. Not just when I load up my client, but also when I'm just randomly walking around in town. Can't stay online without an error for more than 5 minutes, it just started happening today as of 1 hour ago.

Okay, first, background in troubleshooting.

These problems are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND UNRELATED.

Problem 1 happens every time, upon selecting server and hasn't been used for 6 months.

Problem 2 happens at random while in game in prontera and was working 1 hour ago.

The problems have nothing in common with eachother other than producing a gravity error.

Elkai's problem is easy - due to the renewal update, the old client will no longer work. Download the latest client (from iro website or irowiki.org/wiki/Clients_and_Patches ), and install it, and run the Renewal shortcut. The error clearly shows that he's running the pre-renewal client, which is why it's not working.

Spinzaku, if it's just started happening, something changed, figure out what you changed.


Oh, and this thread is tech support, not bug reporting, moving to tech support forum.

Thanks for your response. I simply wasn't aware I needed a completely new client xD. Also sorry if I posted in the wrong section. I couldn't really find the appropriate area to post and I thought this was likely it.

Also where can I get the client? The main pages direct download is eye piercingly slow and the torrent for me anyhow has no seeds and no leechers. Although there is the potential that it is my ISP at this current moment.

To download better from IE, you can install an add-on that allows you to pause and continue downloads.

Or if you don't want to do anything with your IE, there's always Free Download Manager which can help download the file faster.

Bad advice, imo. There's no need to install random browser addons, and certainly no reason to dabble in download managers (which, as a class of applications, are notorious for causing file corruption and coming packaged with stuff you don't want)

Just download it from the wiki: http://irowiki.org/w...nts_and_Patches - the wiki's servers are lightning fast.

I use both of them myself and I can attest that there's nothing to fear from them, especially Free Download Manager since people have responded back that it's made downloading even faster for them.
