I'm at the part of the quest where Priest Gardron asks me to kill skeletons and zombies on the 1st floor of the dungeon. I've killed enough of them to amass about 100 decayed nails but he just keeps sending me in to kill more. Am I missing something or is the quest bugged?

found the solution yet? btw, does having blessing before asthe asks for it contribute to the problem?

I'm also having this problem.
I've killed multiple zombies and skeletons, warped about 10 times and have gotten both 5 dropped nails, and a fresh pile of "Earned" Nails to show him...
Still no dice.

That should only happen if you were a high novice going to high acolyte.
