well the buffing station wouldn't destroy the cleric class, since our main role is to heal...

they can just improve the CD pots to +30


You think thing as it is, but if you look further down the road, it will.

with stronger buff pots/buff station you will be giving the other side with no cleric a fighting chance... and no more boring 1 sided wars...

 

and of course a team with a cleric will have a slight advantage or more (depending on the cleric) because of their heals and a higher buff value.. 

 

at some GAs where i play fs i don't buff my group because the other team has no cleric.. and since the clericless group sees that our group has no buff they will charge, making the GA a little bit fun and not an afk game, but i still supported my group with heals and i my self didn't have buffs. 

 

If the other team will see that we have buffs, it will discourage them to charge.. leading to a boring cd thus wasting time and energy

I agree with a buff station. It gives the team a chance that dosen't get a cleric at the begining and when people sign up for cd. They will know '' We Still Have A Chance''. (I would also this buff station in dungeons also).

 

It would be cool if we could make the system understand what is a full support cleric and what is a battle cleric. Becuse if we could do that we could have the Buff Station ONLY be there while there is no full support and if a full support join, the Buff station destroys until the full support leaves or dc.

I think a buff station is a terrible idea, as it encourages further laziness of cleric/class buff builds.

Clerics are doing great and doesn't require any change.

A server merge would resolve the issue. More Players -> More Clerics -> Higher chance of both sides getting Clerics -> More Fun

If there are lazy clerics then they are lazy no matter what, just like all the other classes.  But that is not the issue here.  A team would rather have a FS cleric for better buffs and heals, but if one side has no buffs they quit.  For about a year we have been talking about what a difference a buff station in the PVP games would be.  I think it is a much better idea then destroying clerics.  The problem with the unbalanced clerics in CD is that the team that has no cleric can't get all of the buffs, therefore they feel weak and won't play.  They can get some class buffs but if the team is composed of mostly one class or missing a class they can't get the majority of class buffs.  If you make the buff station at the equivalent of what a FS cleric in fighting gear has, maybe +30, then the teams would be able to fight. 

 

It would also help for the times there are 3 clerics vs 1.  The cleric can't keep running back to buff people and still help the team when fighting.  So with a Buff station at the respawn it would help the single cleric vs the many.  Personally, I can't see a down side to it.  It would encourage more people to play when they don't have a cleric, it would take some pressure off the single cleric vs many, more games would go because people don't have to worry, and the cleric can still be a cleric.  

 

And it would still encourage people to get class buffs since they are a lot better than +30 typically so would really help out a team that does not have a cleric.  The heal issue is still there but if the team has buffs they can kill the cleric on the other side to reduce the heals.  Plus they can use other strategies to avoid dying while their food is on cooldown.  It might take a bit of thinking, which some in game seem not to want to do, but if forced I think they can do it.

 

I don't want to go back to the horrible queue times waiting for enough clerics to join.  And I think any restrictions in the queue will mess it up for a lot of players.  I think all in all the buff station at the respawns is a great idea.  Just have a stone or something that spawns at each respawn and when you go to it you get buffs.  It can take a bit of time (1min?) to give all 12 basic buffs as long as it gives all the basics only.

Who needs a buff station, we have buff pots in the honor shop for like 1k zully each. Or did you all miss that?...

agree, we should make ROSE a unique one without copying other games.
