Allow ALL Job Classes to Reach New Level Caps

Also, get rid of the stupid 150/160/175 auras because we only need 1 max level aura. What's the point of those auras if they're not longer indicators of being max level? Make them into Kafra Shop costumes so the rest of us don't have to deal with guildfuls of people with obnoxious auras.
(Please refrain from making "move to Classic" comments. We want Renewal to get better. If you have issues with that, then perhaps you should stay in the Classic subsections.)

Aside from those weaker non-trans or non-3rd classes being absolutely useless in end-game environments (due to their low mod skills, lack of serviceable AoEs, lower job bonuses, etc), I don't see why the cap couldn't be raised. Think of it as a self-imposed challenge like KH's No EXP skill or Castlevania's Fixed-Lv1 Hard Mode.
And I wouldn't necessarily call level capping a "dumb decision" since logically a Sura or Guillotine Cross would be far superior to a Champ or Assassin Cross respectively due to their superior training and ability, but w/e this is a game after all. Super Novices got the cap boost!
So +1 from me, even if we all know this proposition is selfish due to your playing a perma-SinX.
Love the aura idea.

i dont see why there shouldd be a base level cap for classes.... job level cap sure but not a base level cap... and as for the auras im not a big fan of myself... i use the simplified aura myself because the giant auras are aweful...

Yes, this proposal is TOTALLY selfish of me to make, despite the fact that there are others like me who do not like 3rd Classes, but are forced to make them lest they miss out on Level 100+ content.
And those Taekwons with their rankings. TOTALLY selfish of me to make a general proposal that applies to them as well. How inconsiderate of me to say that they and other non-3rd Classes/Kagerou/Oboro/Rebel should be playable past 99.

I like the idea. Also, I'd want to see those non-third classes have skills to be competitive with the third classes, and make them viable in all aspects of the game, but the chances of that happening is slim to none.

You want 1st Classes to be competitive with 3rd Classes?

Lets say you make a taekwon character. He's now a ranker and very actively doing the missions to keep in the ranking, with plans to use him in WoE TE. One day, in the midst of doing your mission, you level up to 100 and henceforth are unable attend TE anymore.
It would be pretty dumb to have to keep killing yourself to maintain your level so I don't see that as a valid option. That's just bad design.
The second problem I'd see is scale. The classes weren't built to be past level 99, so some values may get crazy. For example, a taekwon ranker gets 3 times the hp and sp... Looking at the number of levels and stat points ahead, I'm relatively sure that hp can reach absolutely ridiculous amounts. Or, a soul linker may end up having lots of sp.
Another example would be taekwon master. With the large amount of stat points, is there any guarantee that heat doesn't become OP due to its formula?
I know people like the challenge of maxing expanded classes and stuff but with the balancing issues that might be caused, it might get troublesome...
I heard there's an item in kRO that allows you to break the limit momentarily, but I don't think a perma break would be wise...

3rd Classes already have status immunity with their stats, I don't see how non-3rd classes would be all that much unbalanced at the new level caps. People like me just want to at least have the option to play they class they want rather than be funneled into 3rd Classes and Kagerou/Oboro/Rebel in order to do Level 100+ content.
In addition, some people prefer to play trans classes over 3rd Classes as evident in WoE:TE so making them viable in WoE1 and WoE2 would be interesting for them to be able to compete with 3rd Classes.

Level 99 is the limit of a normal human's potential. The level 150 cap is for humans who have had their potential unlocked by the various 3rd class trainers.
Potential was also unlocked when people transcend. Don't recall there being a limit to that.

3rd job change is like a limiter release. The super novice expansion is too. You crash through the ceiling of human potential and become super human !! A lowly Assassin Cross could never do that. If they did, they'd become a Guillotine Cross!

No you had to transcend to get a stronger body that could break some of the normal limits (extra stat points, a few new advanced techniques)

So a Super NOVICE can reach the new level caps, but every 1st Class, 2nd Class, and Trans Class can't?
Not finding the logic in that.

I agree this is one of the things that always kept me from Renewal but at least there isn't a penalty for fighting players of a higher level like other games =(. Would be nice to get that linker past 99 but it shall stay there forever based on kro's pacing qq

Well they are Super of course

There is a huge penalty for fighting higher level players. The EXPONENTIAL reduction in stats based status immunity per level difference. If the opponent is 15 levels higher than you you may as well have 0 in every stat as far as status immunity is concerned( (15^2)/2 % reduction )

When I misclick and poke 99 linkers in WoE, more often than not they stun from my glorious mace.

If there's an annoying linker you just hell plant them once and short of them having orc heros on the will stun for the full 10 seconds even through kaupe at 100% chance.

Every 1st and 2nd class can unlock their limits too. Its just when they do their class name changes to match their newfound power. Its called a job change.

why do you hate being guillotine cross anyway? you still retain every sin x skills you have even if you change to 3rd job.

This, please. It's already bad enough the 150 aura doesn't mean much (at least compared to pre-re) with how easy it is to hit, and the fact that the aura itself is super obnoxious. Don't make us have to deal with multiple versions of it.

But why don't Super Novices need a job change in order to go past 99? Doesn't seem fair to me.

Because I like playing my SinX? Not everyone wants to go 3rd Class, so why restrict them from playing the way they want to?

That's one of the reasons why I don't wanna be a Rune Knight. I liked the older version of how it looked (though not the bikini-ish part of it). Not too fond of the current version that looks like they plopped spikes all over :/ *sticking with my Lord Knight because I like how it looks*
