^ Definately agree. I know Oda can't answer everything himself which is the biggest reason he should be reading this thread prior to the live Tiki. It's probably a good idea for him to start the thread the week of, instead of a few days before, & then close it when he needs to, like a couple of days prior to the stream. It can be re-opened after it's over & when he posts answers.

Wasn't aware he answered it so long after he read it & after he read the next persons question :o

Your 3rd question was answered at 50:01. There are some questions that Oda is unable to answer personally and for these he delegates. When the answer comes back he's able to respond to the question, if Camp doesn't just do it himself.

And tbh yes, they do need to put more effort into the Tikis. Locking the thread the evening prior to air or some other form of cutoff date, to more thoroughly research and answer the questions would be a good start. It would also give people incentive to post early instead of on the day. The thread could be unlocked at airtime to make room for player responses.

I agree.

Last week I asked about all the limited gear items that have been in there for about 6 months maybe more. Your answer was "These will likely stick around as long as we have limited amounts of new items of those categories from HQ. Once we get more new items we can phase those out."

Are saying you guys are going to keep flooding the market, with these items, till you have new items you can put in? That doesn't really make sense since new items should be released in Groove Packs, & Lucky Boxes, like they always have been. Granted I haven't been playing long but you guys just keep adding more gear, that's already on the market, & has been in boxes. IMO the only reason this is happening is so that you guys can make more money regardless of the effect it is having on the market.

In general the sales on these individual items taper off after a few weeks, but it's nice to have them in for people who are new.

Oda you were fast this week.

That's what the Eden Equipment is for. Sure one or two items can maybe help the people who are new out. Most that are new aren't going to spend cash on the game though. What about those of us those of us trying to sell gear too?

Why not just add a box that contains like 500m zeny for 1000kp, to help people who are new ;)

Actually the new players in MMOs, statistically, are the biggest spenders. There's an attitude permeating online games with trade and vend capabilities that the easiest way for an absolute newbie to get started is to drop a few hundred dollars on the game's Item Mall and resell the most valuable things they can find there.

Older players have other ways to make money using methods available within the game and so make less use of it, unless something catches their eye. Statistically they are the least likely to spend large amounts of irl money in this manner. Oftentimes the veterans won't even buy direct from the IM, instead waiting for new players to burn their own irl money on it and purchase it from said players with in-game currency.

I actually enjoy the KP Shop items being in for so long, and I'm sure many other players share this perspective. It allows players that are slow to pick up on updates a chance to get what they want for minimal outlay due to an excess of supply. If someone wanted to make a lot of quick money off gear and consumables purchasable with irl money, they should simply hold their stock until those items leave. The truly rare stuff, that is explicitly meant to be rare, is shoved in random boxes with low rates to retain their value anyway.

Okay you're right about the fact that new players do spend more cash, on the game, in order to make zeny. That's what Groove Packs, & Lucky Boxes, are for though too. That's how I got started & was able to make zeny too.

My point was that Oda said it was so they could have access to gear for getting started. I was also talking about the amount of gear they have added. There are at about 5 different headgear items. I agree with the Immune Shield being in. It has been before & is nothing new.

Haha... Because Oda gets to have a life on the weekends :D

Can you guys please fix it so the the pm block list isn't deleted every time we warp. This is really a pain going in, & out of Eden, and/or going in, & out of the Kitchen especially.

We're not going to be able to change the way the PM block system works, unfortunately.

I understand this is how the PM block system currently works. It's really a pain due to this. Why can't this be changed & fixed? I'm not trying to be difficult.

You can ask this on next weeks thread. Most likely the answer will be "TBD" or something to that effect.
