Omg, yay! Thank you hosts/staff for creating this event, it was really fun~

Congrats to the winners and also to all amazing entries posted. The participation prize was a really nice way to reward the effort everyone put into their submissions~

I've edited my entry already with my IGN and the prize I chose. :3

I'd love to do more events. I love to sculpt. I just get disheartened knowing that the judge doesn't like me.

 

I agree with some that said yours was their favorite, as it was one of mine as well !! also I don't hate you *hug*

and while I can't know for sure, even if a GM , Mod or Staff disliked your person, it shouldn't affect when voting for this kind of stuff, as this should be judged based on what they asked (in this case, a Hat) and leave aside grudges and favoritisms.

 

And after seeing the winner lists I do wonder if this was done without favoritisms (or as Taiga said, if they even looked at the making process) since I have some troubles with a couple of the winners.

I'm not saying they were bad btw, but some really show a lot more dedication and skill than others..

No one is ever going to agree on a "best"

My favorites were quite different.

 

 

I'm going to go ahead and post the brackets chosen by Campitor.

These are in no particular order and I wanted to show that everyone in each individual bracket were judged only against people in that bracket.

In the end, 3 people won from each main bracket instead of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd only.

I also wanted to clarify prizes.

 

 

The top 3 in the first bracket get their named sakura crown + the participation prize.

 

The top 3 in the second bracket get a creative convention hat + a pet egg of their choice + the participation prize.

 

Everyone else will be receiving a Dullahan egg for participating.

We couldn't give out creative convention hats to everyone that participated, so Sarah and I decided on a higher end pet for you all.

I hope that you are all satisfied with this and that it's a little more reflective of the time that you all invested into this contest.

so wait.... how did the mystic rose (made out of paper and tape and glue) end up in a higher bracket than the benevolent guardian or magic rabbit hat that were made out of cloth and required sewing? i dont think actual difficulty and level of skill we taken into account as much as it should...
