Originally I was just going to roll up a piece of paper and call it a unicorn horn, but maintenance today. Nothing to do, so I decided to actually put some effort into this contest:
Crown of Deceit:
Entirely hand sculpted with polymer clay, and painted with acrylic paint.
If you need to see it on my head, just say so and I'll post a pic.
Here is a link to some work in progress pics, I have more available if neccesary: http://imgur.com/a/Z9t54
What brand of clay is this?

hey guys, I made an Ordinary Black Magician Hat (hey, the name says ordinary black magician hat but the ingame sprite and illustration is purple.For this event I used the sprite and illustration reference, ok?). I'll edit after all the pictures are uploaded, so just a second please!! ; w;
This is the final product (sry for my tired face, it's 3am here D: and sry for the huuuge picture)
Spoiler
Then, here we go~
Steps:
1- Made some wires to be the main structure of the hat. Measure your head and do the circles.
2- After that, make some other circles to give it the height of it. Start to add some wires and make your wireframe.
3- Begin adding the batting (I used some kind of acrylic blanket). Sew it to the wireframe from the inside of it.
4 - Add the batting on the outside of the wireframe. Continue it to sew it. This was the most boring part.
5- Work on the "accessories". Start with the star pattern, you can do it on your favorite software.
6- Cut and sew it!! I made it with a felt.
7-After that you can work either on the cover of the hat or the rest of the accessories.
8 - Cut a purple fabric with the same pattern of the conic part of the hat. I made a copy in paper, then transfered to the fabric. Sew it!!
9- Cut the circle one and add to the hat. In this part I used fabric glue to attach the rest of the fabric in the batting to give best finnish.
10 - Pick the yellow fabric and start the ribbons. I addapted a tutorial of ribbons, if someone needs, please let me know, I can send the link.
11- Sew it with the hat and don't forget the star on the top of the hat.
Let me upload all the pictures and resize then, just a second please ;w;

here we go, all the process pictures.
Spoiler
I correct some typos and I forgot to mention about the "frilly" thing on the lapel of the hat. I made it just stitching the thread with hand and needle using large points and finalizing by pulling the thread.
You can see better explanations on the pictures, if someone have some questions, feel free to ask me as my english is not that good ;w; thx for reading!
Amazing hat! So much work to do it @@
Gratz!

It is possible there will be ties.
I might even have to scrap the third bracket all together and just make it into a participation prize. Waiting to hear what Oda thinks~

Super Sculpey.
Going to have to try that then. Does it require a bake or is it air cure? In the past I have had to use green stuff but I don't like using up my stock pile of that.

Baking. It wont dry in air.
Also make sure you get Super Sculpey, not regular sculpey. Regular sculpey is kids stuff and does not hold up well. Super Sculpey is what most professional model makers use.

Since everyone is getting a participation prize anyway, please edit your posts to include your in-game names while we're waiting for an update. I will mark them down on a list to give to Oda to make his life easier.
/skips away to pester oda about winners

Oh, I forgot about the stream haha. Who won? Congrats to whoever it was!
Also, for participation prize, is it the creative convention hat? can we choose a different color (red, yellow, blue iirc) if we already have the green?

When I made a list for each bracket Oda got confused and thought it was a list of winners instead of choosing from them so he's doing it now, lol.

Haha, grats to all the winners.
I have a lot of people to say "I told you so" to
Oda hates me way too much to allow me to win a contest, despite what everyone else told me.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised and pleased with the participation prize.
Because this event took so much effort to participate in, I secured something nice for everyone (without being too OP).
