quest will be going away tomorrow during maint!  don't forget to use up all your extra giant squids (i will be keeping one for nostalgia purposes )

got two non vips to 99 just from this quest (from 80 lol)

Damn.. I was too lazy to check if the exp was given in parts (i.e: 5 parts of 200k for non vips), just like the Dragon helm quest.

Did anyone get some OCA's from the random reward?

does retaking the quest give you the exp again? it sounds like a rather decent way of leveling 90 ish characters

it just gives exp in one chunk, so if you're VIP non-trans you will be continuing to lose exp from overflow until the 90s.  if non-vip you'd experience overflow into the low 80s or so.
