Patch Notes v531

 
Game, Client and Server Tweaks, Updates and Enhancements

  • Some maps have been updated with some measures to help prevent some movement glitching and pathing issues, for players and monsters.
  • Added confirmation dialogs when attempting to trade, buy or withdraw Bind on Acquire items.
  • New in-game versions of the Venurune, Plutorune, and Nepturune can now be obtained for completing a Game Arena Dungeon at a low rate.
  • Updated King drop rates so they have a better chance to yield something on defeat for higher level areas.
  • Slight improvement to monster defenses: Guard, Fighter, Warrior, Ranger, Hunter and Magician class monster Defense and Magic Defense, increased by 10%.
    • Leaders gain +15% Def & MDef (basic Leaders gained +5%)
    • Captains gain +20% Def & MDef (basic Captains gained +10%)
    • Sub-Boss gain +25% Def & MDef (basic Sub-Boss gained +15%)
    • Kings gain +15% Def & MDef (basic King gained +5%)

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected Enraged Berserk to correctly provide the intended Enhanced Damage Rates (+60% total, not +90%)
  • Summons will now automatically suicide when a character's maximum summon gauge is exceeded
  • Corrected issue with monster kill "ownership" being lost after a short amount of time of combat inactivity.
  • Corrected issue with being able to send cart ride requests to dead players.
  • (v532) Corrected incorrect summon stats for Judgement Knight.

Special note

  • In the coming days, we will be updating maps with a movement restriction feature.
    • Currently, Crystal Defenders, City of Junon Polis and Sikuku Ruins, have been given some restricted areas, where players will no longer be able to walk on the terrain.
    • This also has made it so for the few who may have discovered "holes" or access, may no longer be able to leave the boundaries of a map.
  • Additionally, this will also affect monsters and where they may choose to walk.
    • As we update more and more maps, monsters will avoid moving through walls or other such obstacles that may be in their path.

I think a tweak to the defenses of the mobs identified was in order. What the heck is the "Trick" in the Trick or Treat Box in the IM. Is it something useful? I can't remember from past events but I don't want to invest if one of the options is junk. No offense taken by that remark, I hope :p_swt:

As You Leonis said, that monsters can't walk through walls anymore. Is it possible, that someday scouts, artis and etc can't shoot trough wall anymore?

  • A Trick!
  • Bat Booster(4)
  • Candy Booster(4)
  • Pumpkin Booster(4)
  • Skeleton Booster(4)
  • Witch Booster(4)
  • Witch's Nose & Chin
  • Black Cat Mask
  • Tiger Mask
  • Trick or Treat - Skeleton Mask
  • Trick or Treat - Devil Mask
  • Trick or Treat - Frankenstein Mask
  • Trick or Treat - Voodoo Mask

 

 

As You Leonis said, that monsters can't walk through walls anymore. Is it possible, that someday scouts, artis and etc can't shoot trough wall anymore?

As we're able to update maps, monsters will not naturally walk through walls more and more, and we will work to improve this feature over time.

As for the line of sight with walls, player attacks and skills, we're working on it. :)

Glad to hear that. Many people are taking advantage from it, and it seems so unfair. Especially in Crystal defender map :)

What is "A Trick"? 1st option you give in the contents.

 

Or maybe you intended to not answer it and want me to figure it out?

 

Only way to do that is to buy it and open it. Not sure I want to take my chances without knowing what "A Trick" is or could be.

 

Maybe "A Trick" means I get nothing like what it means in real life. or a trick that is annoying and makes you want to shake your head. I can assure you if that is a possible option, I will not invest.

 

By history with the boxes the investment = something of equal value to the price. If it's a box of 450 MP candies, I most certainly will not be amused.

Ugh.... Monsters need more offense not defense. Leveling at higher levels is already slow and this doesn't make it more challenging, just slower. Same thing goes for bosses. There was a whole thread about it a couple weeks ago. 

 

 

 

Whats the point of making the dungeons bosses harder to kill? The only thing making them harder to kill is doing is giving me more time to close the window and browse the internet. I'm fighting Ulverick right now as I'm typing this, with a group of 205-219 and essentially afking on the boss only reclicking after it stuns. Is this really necessary? It's not interactive at all and pvm is quite braindead overall, it's not hard, just time consuming. Especially at higher levels.

there's an annoying bug where if you are queued for multiple game arenas, you can get immediately kicked out once you warp there. example, i queued for hall of oblivs + crystal defenders, and once i got into hoo, i got warped back out. and it took my 3k energy! 

 

i thought someone was purposely kicking players out of dungeon but, seems like its a bug that happens when ur queued for more than 1 GA

 

 

 

 

Another thing is... purchasing honor to energy now has a pop up saying "Honor to Energy will become character locked, do you wish to continue", even though it is consumed upon purchase. not sure if that was part of the update

received a error on this patch update. it was working before this update happpened

 

 

ERROR : File [3DDATA\TERRAIN\O_Range.TBL] open error

 

i already have opened a ticket but of course 24-48 hrs ....

I was doing hall of oblivion, auto attacked on the boss, then go brush teeth, flossed, and this boss still have 20% HP remain....... :p_swt:

I think the mobs, defence and hp wise were fine, Like Phish said, this just makes the fight last longer and more boring. Also non sub boss type mobs shouldn't have been touched, they were fine the way they were. why make normal mobs stronger? normal mobs aren't bosses or anything, the complain was for king type mobs only(I thought were fine before).

anyone had a chance to get drops from dg?been grinding for hours didn't get any....thanks!

kindly check judgement summon please I died in 1-2 hits LOL....

 

here its current stats:

HP - 355k

AP - 35k

DEF - 84k

ACC - 6k
