Hi guys,

 

I would like to ask some PVP build from veteran monks out there.

 

Bonus Stat Distribution?

            *pure STR for Phy Attk + Parry + Accuracy?  

            *STR/AGI for crit and dodge? 

            *or is STR/INT still viable for monk on ML30? then why?

 

Runes?

            *Redseed Rune [Flame]?

            *Redseed Rune [Blood]?

 

            *Radiant Runes? STR/AGI/INT/VIT? which one?

 

            *Greenseed Rune [Shock] or [Power]? why?

 

Cards? Which cards are the best for pvp?

            *5pcs Maya Card [Normal+] <-- currently equipped

            or should i get another set of cards for pvp?

            if so, which cards do you guys prefer and why?

 

And if I miss out on some build or guide, please feel free to add here... 

 

 

Sorry for asking this, I just cant find a reliable guide for a pvp monk.

And I too is a noob at this game.

Stats:

Check out this patch note or your character screen. Since that day, we have a quote: "stat balance", and since none of the VCR diagrees, you can choose whatever stat you want, because they are now perfectly balanced, right? I would say INT is a waste for monks right now and I wouldn't recommend AGI either, because your G-Fist / Asura Strike will be an automatic crit, but that's just me... so who cares. Better contact the current monk VCR or rely on those who newly applied to that job.

 

Power vs. Shock Runes:

Assassins, Rogues, Warriors, Knights and Sorcerers can one-shot//two-shot you, even if you have a 90% defense rate, so guess by yourself: Use a Lightning Walk that knocks your opponent down and finish him with a G-Fist or two OR stun him occationally on every strike. The proper answer however might be: Use two weapons.

 

Cards:

There's no better card than Osiris. Currently, it's all about one-shotting people... so better make sure that you're the one who kills first... and the Osiris card helps the most.

Guess the VCRs are too busy reporting bugs, testing the new content on the ITS and arguing about gear stats.

Blood (in gear with defense/Dodge) Flame (in gear with hit, haste, vigor)

Runes;
STR - INT - VIT - AGI

 

GreenSeeds;
Power

 

Cards;

Osiris - Muca - Mummy - Réquiem - Condor (Any of these x5)
I have +9 Muca x5

o_O Full Str but using Vit/Agi runes? Might as well use Str runes instead and take some points away from Str and add some to Vit/Agi. Str runes are cheaper Well at least at the time of me writing this, people are trending towards VIT builds and making the Vit runes way more expensive than they should be >_>
