has anyone tried leveling with Rolling Cutter + EDP on this build? It lacks katar masteries but the again will EDP give enough damage to have this build viable for leveling?

This build not for leveling. U need to level with katar and RC build and only on 175/70 lvl change to dd crit. But dont forget: change job on 42 lvl

Ofc you can level with this build, you still get what you mainly need :Rolling Cutter&EDP
It just deals a bit less damage for the lack of adv. Katar mastery, and hit rate may be another concern, but if you can make for the low dex with gears, its fine.

Technically you could reduce your steal to 5, and get DA5 for Katar Masteries for leveling purpose, then reset when you are ready to DD and go the proper skill tree without messing your character up :v

Its probably a very obvious question to ask as the answer depends on what MvP am I going for. But what would be the better elemental nab to get?

 

Already have an ok-ish undead/shadow so thinking about fire/water/wind , not sure about earth.

 

Had a pasana nab before this but i really rarely use it, mainly just default undead/shadow.

 

Should i get water for waterballs so I can start farming Drake?

Currently Im running Verus so a wind would tune down Charleston LoV a lot.

 

Not sure how fire stands as welp doubt i cank tank those fire elemental MvPs in the first place.

 

As DD Crit generally kills quite quickly, what are the effect of having lets say a porcelio instead of an elemental armor?

 

Edit: Asking cause i manage to get sharp1/2 (Not trying third enchant cause I'm too chicken and broke 4 sapha's cloth consecutively before getting this one) and I think it would be a while till I get another crit 15 sapha, crit 10 is pretty common though.

change temp luk ad4 sol to temp luk ad4 lucky day

when you can get 193 aspd, dump aspd enchant on faw to make crit damage enchants

petal card on faw

upgrade to +12 white eddga

mid eye gear with dark lord 3 force enchant for atk

make priest class to cast odin's power level 2

master dark claw, use EDP

some use magnum break clip to get +atk then switch back to aspd accessory before attacking

My Suggestions:

Low: Advanced Sin Mask
Boots: Alternative Temp Luk AD4 BP (if you have a minimum base of  100 CRIT with all gears and buff put together. With the exception of MVP Charleston which requires, I think, 120 CRIT to purely Crit damage)
Acce: Apart from Marine Sphere card, you can a pair of Gold Scaraba/Kobold/Tiyanak cards on LUK Gloves (if you already have 193 ASPD and you don't need to rely on BakoTats on ASPD bonuses)

MVPing is not an issue since CRIT damage ignores Hit Rate of mobs (am I right? X-D). However, the enemy's LUK though reduces your chance to perform a critical hit. Charleston 3 MVP has 100 LUK/ 30 Crit so you need to have around 130 Crit damage to 100%. Another issue is mobbing during instances as well.

the 20% armor reduction would be obsolete with IP since IP's effect is both 100% armor reduction and addition damage per 2 hard def

G.Glad would be on main hand is that why it take priority over offhand IP? RO is a messed up game prob the 20% applies first reducing the def and then ip account the rest of def lowering potential dmg idk.

Based on Haven's damage with Glorious + Thanatos, I don't think there's much reduction going on...

 

... and if there was, it would still be worth it, as you'd only lose 20% of the defense-to-eATK bonus but gain the huge demihuman bonus.

the game sums up all your def ignores and apply it only once, there's no penalty for the IP bonus. and the def ignored would be as 100% from IP + 25%(? memory failing :v) from kvm, 125% but it cannot go to negative numbers so 100% basically

Yes, we need to know which food buffs stack together or not. 

Just sharing my observation though its not related to LUK or Crit Buffs (just based on my status on the right screen though):

 

1. Military Ration B (Hit) & C (Flee) does not stack with Sesame Pastry (Hit) & Honey Pastry (Flee) respectively?

 

2. Distilled Fighting Spirit, Tasty Pink Ration and Takoyaki Atk buff does not stack together?

Only the crit foods stack. Other status are treated as every other buff in the game, and only the highest value is aplied
