Ganking around with a lot of summons has always been my dream with  mmmorpg's
Since i'm new i would like know if dominator gets better later in game at high lvl

is better if they go with two handed staff or knukles

1 handed staff / mace / sword + shield

I know this is the bilion time someone ask for this but i tried search on the forum but i got lost, there are many topics and i got frustrated.

hope u answer me as soon as possible

Pk with a domi is rather rare (end game domis are rare in general).

The pet AI isnt fantastic But a domi in pvp can be quite good, especially with added summons from items (golem, temperions)

there are good domi builds out there that make them ridiculously hard to kill - http://forums.warppo...ominator-build/

but really, it depends on investment in the long run. domis make excellent farmers though.

But are they wanted in parties, raids and dungeons?

Ofc, they have strong debuffs for RAIDs and decent damage, you can also solo many dungeons because kazara can slow everything and ennon/vampiric are good heals xd

once upon a time, classes mattered in raids. radiants were needed for heals, protectors needed for tanking and dominators would help absorb damage of AoE skills of bosses (ie, party has 8 member, boss uses a skill that hits 10 targets, a domi with a gajillion pets would absorb the attack thus less people get hit by skill)

now a days, super power players dont care. protectors are replaced by anyone who has crazy attack stats and HP. rads can be substituted by potions and enough mystics. occasionally raids would like a domi for above mentioned strategy but really depends on who's in the party :/ it is a fine trolling class otherwise. stand and watch your pets slow and stun your opponent while they try to kill all of them, wondering where the mastermind is.

the only other super troll class is a battle based radiant (who has loads of MP that regens faster than they can use it, who has MP shield that turns HP damage into MP loss, has 4 heals they can cast casually on themselves or fearlessly on the front lines for other melee, has a sleep and a hush to screw over almost any class and holy bolt to slow down targets. then they just pew pew with their crappy 1st job skills but since their scad and magic is so high, it still cuts people down. i miss fighting battlerads ...)

I've just watched some videos and see VT get basically a tik medium/strong/lifesaver instant skill with some DNA pts in it.

Shape of fear is good but idk if worth to put point in it, it sometime helps when a mob annoy me while i focus on other monsters or boss

Shadow binding and lifting terror help as much as shape of fear but idk if worth to put pts in them too.

As soul hunter i'm pumping out kazara and he becoming a good tank and leave lenatore 5 lvl below kazara so he d't agro tu much on a boss fight.

if it happen then i'll control lenatore to run back then fight again and boss wont get out of my range or even disappear after a wall / hill o.O"....

The illusion is basically useless, it is lvl 1.

Got invisibility and bless of wind at 1, i'm ok with that since i can survive :)

Bloody lvl 5 and maxing Rake Nail.

VT aoe basically makes grinding alot easier. but only really effective if you have high skill crit chance (say 70% or about). It gives you enough time to survive most pulls until your next Terms of Service. Otherwise, potting is likely. AoE DNA is unlocked at 2nd class (defi / domi) potens VT DNA makes it faster to recast.

pets are fun at low levels, useless for defiler. illusion will give you a 1 hit guard and a second or 2 from mobs. they will always target illusion before you and  then have a brief moment when they re-calibrate next target. not really worth it.

binding is useful in pvp and pve. i'd put no more than 5 into it. typically holds a strong target down until Terms of Service is ready.

shape of fear is also useful. HOWEVER if you attack a feared target, they lose fear status. so needs care when using. FUN skill in pvp when you can use it on really hard to kill player so that they fall off a cliff. favorite troll move <3

evasion buffs are good but require investment into evasion stats to make them really noticeable. otherwise, you may wish to just up invisibility and skip blessing of wind. Invis increase evasion by a %, and this makes it possible to hit 40k+ eva by end game, but would mean you just dodge aa melee attacks from players and mobs. normally means your Hp or damage suffer if you choose to follow eva. reports are that less than 30k evasion isnt that noticeable. i think if you had the luxury of testing it or have spare points, get invis.

If you have x10 evasion than boss accuracy he will miss u 100% with AA.
With domi debuff, you can tank bosses without problema because they will miss always, if u are builded eva.

the Illusion isnt that useless if u focus on pvp - its a very weak (1-hit summon) but gives u soccerkick immunity, same does Humbaba. So always try to keep them summoned if u want to keep ur holy buffs in pvp ^^ ---> doesnt work vs. Disgust Hunters btw, they still kick ur buffs
