I d' like play with those two summons plus the help of golems and model X and if i chose defiler path then i would apreciate if something do the tank job, but since DEFILER's most SKILLS are hard hit AOE i'm afraid that i will agro to much.
So the question is if it's possible and worth the investment for a main defiler > dominator ( like ) build.

No, you don't need them, just a waste of skill points, maybe kazara for the slow....but it miss on high levels.

how do you hit multiple monsters with VT?
i have <Swift VT> at lvl 5 and VT at 5 so..

Vamp Touch AoE effect is a DNA option. but currently, its bugged and cant be selected. dont know why they havent fixed it yet :/

Do our skills auto reset after job change?

I ask this because i might go defiler and got tons of free skill points to use so i can afford the 50's skill.

 

I mostly a solo player because got no time to meet ppl with raids and more but i would apreciate aoe nuke skills if i got the luck to partecipate in some

 

events and if not then i play solo dungeons with the 1 targhet skills while bodyguard pets do the tanking.

yes skills/dna will be resetted automatically after a jc - and agreed too, Defis dont need summons.... I didnt read ur whole post but as far as I understood u want to be more resistant vs. mobs ? Like Sandyman mentioned, go for wand/shield - enchant ur armor with block/def/eva enchants and u'll notice a change

 

 

p.s.: summons are no tanks btw (except for Veteran Kamila, maybe some of the new compoundable ones too) since the domi/defi will always hit harder (unless u fight naked) ^^
