I was wondering if anyone has experienced this?
I just tried refining 2 +7 headgears with the mighty hammer in Eden Group and unsurprisingly they fail, however the chat window closes and am stuck with two +6 headgears that can not be upgraded with HD Elunium (I thought the first time was my mistake). That's a really crappy way to start out the Black Friday fun in RO.

Yeah its why i don't use HD ores unless i have like 100 opened in my inventory and adequate zeny
It's actually not a bug because if you close the window then you're stuck with a +6 item which the NPC won't accept when you talk to it again

That's what I don't understand, the character I used had almost 2 mil zeny and 100 HD elus in inventory. I was not given the option to continue.
Could anyone confirm if the HD refinement system has been working as intended in the couple hours?
Has anyone submitted a ticket about stuff like this? What is the liklihood of the error being corrected (as in the stats re-upped) by technical support?

right now it runs through upgrade dialog twice and then doubles up your items if you're using safe certs...
I don't think HD is broken... I think mighty hammer is broken. I think he runs through a second 'from the beginning' upgrade session after a completed one, which is why HD ori is kicking you out.

the doubling up is just a cosmetic thing right? it's not like he's giving you two chances to upgrade on one cert or anything funky like that?
It looks bugged so I didn't risk it. I just cancelled out of the dialog and started over with the item showing 1 time
