Hi there, old player returning after a 3 years break...
So nice that this update addressed many skills, but they ONCE AGAIN overlooked Chain Slash, now Crisscross Slash, in terms of efficacy...
This skill is clearly inferior to most previous Defender skills, lets compare it with Onslaught, for example:
1) Less damage, around 30% less than Onslaught.
2) Higher cooldown. You can pretty much use Onslaught 2 times before the cooldown of Crisscross Slash resets.
3) Higher MP cost even at lower lvl than Onslaught (lvl 3 costs 104 MP and Onslaught costs around 40 or so, I can't remember now)
So what gives, Gravity? Shouldn't this skill be dealing at least slightly more damage than Onslaught?
What's the point of investing on a skill that is clearly inferior, for a 2nd job skill? Sure, there is a DNA for increasing it's AOE effects, but I'm sure as hell not gonna dump DNA points for a single skill only...
I think you should look it up...
