So when will classic get the xmas event?

I just noticed no-one has asked everyone's glaring question yet, so here goes:

 

How long will Jumping Janeway be staying for?

1. Can bio2, bio3 and bio4 has it own map zone? At least bio4. The lag is unrealistic when there are 2 parties pulling with reflect gear, it's worse than how low ti lags. Please check bio4 during the day and see how it lags.

We'll have to check and see what else is on the zone. If those maps are the primary thing there, moving it around wouldn't help. 

1. Would it be possible to keep bio3 and bio4 spotlight exp bonus forever? The default exp doesn't make sense with the difficulty of bio mobs. For example monster Trentini has 204,962 HP and it only gives around 15k exp, really? This is so little compared to the trouble needed to get these mobs down.

Unfortunately we would not be able to keep that boosted exp as a permanent thing, bounty boards would be more likely as a way to compensate. 

1. Will there be any sort of exp event? new exp headgear or new exp manuals for 175/60?

Nothing planned at the moment. 

1. Can we have challenge dungeon similar to golden scaraba for +150 priests where they can punch the face of undead monsters? Bounty kill counts to go with that will be great too.

Possible: make some suggestions!

when will the lhz spotlight leave, since it looks like bio4 is the fastest leveling method to 175 right now, with the spotlight exp, inc spawns and bounty board trifecta.

Hopefully the double exp never leaves, totally support Beata on that but extra spawn can go away since it's making the maps too laggy.

There will be non-TI options available for 150+ characters soon but it's unlikely that we'll do straight up Gramps TIs for 150+.

Can you give a shoutout about the Exp boost from the costume boy's cap and costume goggles on the tiki tuesday stream so more people are aware.

it sounds like Oda answered the question in 28:35 of the video, but it's sort of cut off. it looks like the spotlight is leaving this maint though, to be replaced with the new world spotlight.

 Sadface. I have so much going on to finish on the side (RO Xmas loading screen, real life events etc), I unfortunately have to miss out LHZ spotlight. I guess I will not be hitting 160 anytime soon.

 

If New World spotlight does come in but without Eclage/ Mora Bounty Board, it's still going to be slower.

He updated the Maint thread saying it's leaving tomorrow. I'm going to be very disappointed if it's not on the same level as bios, though, as I wasn't able to play at all this past weekend. But it's common in RO to have a group of people take advantage of something and then take it out the next week, so the ones who didn't go crazy are gimped. Damn real life.

Edit: I tried out the El Dicaste bounty board (4 monsters iirc), and got like 1% ea (all base, VIP). Something about it is going to have to change to make it worthwhile, and since that seems to be the only method of leveling it's not really an option to leave it as it is.

To finish Bio4 runs a party take maybe about 2 -3 hours to finish all 150 counts (walking party, possibly faster but this is base on my own experience with a decent party without a ranger.), 7 bio4 monster turn ins.

 

If you can finish more than 7 Scarabas turn ins in 3 hours time, it might be a possibility that it is comparable to Bios. Seeing completing 400 counts in 15-30 minutes time was possible with Gramps TI before, but this ultimately depending on the spawn rates in the natural map.

 

Scarabas will also be a more PVM player friendly because Bio4 caters to those heavily well PVP geared characters and not so much the PVM players without their demi human weapons/mvp cards/ gears etc. Organizing party may not be as tedious too like Bio4 parties, and somehow Bio4 caters to active woe guilds than most other pvm guilds. 

 

 

And then you have to consider the level penalty starts sinking in faster than Bio monsters so as you hit higher level, you will have drastically less EXP come back. ._.

 

 

My networth for all 7 Bio monsters turn in from a 2 and a half hour party + Sara's memory, 150-152 with BMx3 is 158,787,784 EXP. VIP, all on base.

 

 

I am kind of hoping for LHZ spotlight to stay still so more people that have a life can actually continue leveling... Just one more week? @_@

A standard bio party (ranger, gwings) can finish in 30 minutes and keep repeating.

It took the party I was in almost 2 hours to recruit and 2 - 3 hours (? estimate) to complete, we don't have a ranger though and we did Gwinged a bit.

 

Yeah I tried grinding at other places, trying to explore maps that are more feasible for my none-WOE guild members to level together but nothing was comparable to Bio4. :/
