I gave you my main character to get you started, any more information you require can be gained on your own, for the record my posting my main character was for another person's sake not yours i am not going to openly help you whilst you publicly berate me for doing the right thing.

 

Also i don't use Divine-Pride nor would have i thought to look up Costume : Boy's Cap and Or Costume: Goggles, your statement is irrelevant this is important information especially now that 175 patch is here, now if there was anyone that didn't know im sure they do and everyone can have an equal leveling experience.

 

Your goal was to get the bonus removed, not to have everyone benefit from it. Don't try to suddenly make yourself out like a saint here.

You can see screenshots in the 175 thread of people using these costumes, too late to remove the exp bonus now, people already benefit and it would be unfair for the rest if it disappeared. For those who didn't know before, too bad, enjoy that the effect is staying n_n

Either way, the CMs are now aware of the hidden bonuses and pretty much have stated they don't care. So I think it's time to lay this debate to rest, no?

If it is NOT an intended mechanic then yes it should be removed, i see no harm in posting this thread either it gets removed by GM's and or it doesn't and more people get to take advantage of this significant level boost, in my eyes it doesn't matter either way because both of those options are fair on everyone not just you.

This really worries me so much. I wonder if they also don't care when cheaters/botters who abuse the game are caught. I do not think this is right at all.

 

I am not asking them to remove the effect. It is none of my business. In fact I do have zeny to buy the Goggles, but I am not actively leveling any of my characters. So Im very neutral about this issues. However if they will keep the effect on, I think they should modify the item's description. So some new and ignorant people can also know about this information. The description and the item should match.

Taking advantage of something that is unintended is an exploit no matter how people word it. And the CMs have made it clear that they plan to take no action against this exploit. So now they've opened themselves up to a debate about which exploits are acceptable and which are not since they no longer take a stance of intolerance against ANY exploit.

Regardless, we know how they are when it comes to exploits so at least they're upfront about it here.

Yes it would have been nice if everyone had viewed divine pride and known about the experience bonuses so they could have all benefited from it since there is no negative gameplay or economic effect to additional experience.

 

 

If there were to be anymore exploits that are hurting the game (ex. ET repeats), then they should be reported.

 

But those that don't negatively effect it shouldn't be spoken of, even if its to be considered an "exploit".

There's absolutely no way to know if something will affect future updates or not. Better to let the CMs be aware of it than have them scratch their heads because they don't have all the information they should have if some issue pops up.

I think the thread has run it's course. A bonus we've put onto a headgear and announced a long long time ago is not an exploit. We'll update the descriptions of those headgears.
