Were expecting a short maintenance this week as we don't have alot of time in the office. However these are the notes.

 

New Years Quest - Ran out of time yesterday instead put in dragons turn ins

 

Event WoE

WoE 1: Novice/Super Novice Only

WoE 2: We take the limits off this thing and go full damage for a week.

 

If there is time we will also continue the drops update project for levels 21-30 otherwise that will happen next week.

 

Seal Status Board will return and Santa will stay in for those users who want to take advantage.

 

Abyss Lake TI Event reappears due to Hugel Spotlight

 

The drops changes from last week go in this week: 

 

Angeling Loses its Apple Drop and gains a very good chance of dropping Ygg. berries

Aster Gains a meat drop

Coco gains increased chance to drop Hood [1] and Sandals [1]

Crab gains chance to drop meat and crystal blue

Elder Willow gains increased chance to drop Wooden Mail [1]

Horn gains a meat drop

Hydra gains monster's feed drop

Mandragora gains increased Spear[4] drop

Martin gains increase Jur[3] drop

Pecopeco gains a meat drop

Poporing's apple drop is moved away from card rates to something decent

Shellfish gains a meat drop

Snake's Katana [4] drop rate is increased

Spores will drop poison spores more often (was card rate)

Tarou gains meat drop and an apple drop

Vadon's Padded Armor [1] drop increased

Vocal's Guitar drop has been increased

Zombies gain a meat drop (ew) and a very low chance of dropping a main gauche.

There is a dc issue on classic, people randomly getting their connection dropped.

We have restarted the login servers to attempt to fix this.

It seems to only apply to some accounts, almost as if they are temporarily frozen...one account will log and the other remains disconnected

I second that, unluckily my main account is the one dc-ed and the support can log-in

What is the error message you are getting?

Login Servers should be good for the majority now as it is for mine I would assume!

         But the error message was stated "Disconnected From Server".

It's something about going to warpportal and confirming / changing a password. I just changed both Warp Portal password and RO account password and it still diesn't work.

Mine is Disconnected from Server, i make it up to the Server Selection but not in the character selection - where the error shows.

It's something about going to warpportal and confirming / changing a password. I just changed both Warp Portal password and RO account password and it still diesn't work.

I would suggest logging into both servers all the way until you can move in game. Often this will clear up any issues with logins.

I am looking at the server and it appears that it never went down. I was also able to login correctly.

Owh sorry i forgot to mention, i'm not able to log in onto only a specific account, after the server select it says disconnected from the server. My friends are facing similar problems for some specific accounts too, not all!

Here is my list of things:

 

New World - and all that goes with it, Nyd
KVM - properly implemented with no bugs or exploits and a promise of no badges available from boxes
DG - fix the incarnations drop rate 0.02 is not cool
Bio3 - just give us the default spawns with wizards and all
BGs - do something to make Tierra worth playing
Gemstones - just put yellow/reds on NPCs please, you take an annoying semi-time consuming step out of getting them
MVP variance - i'd like to see some rebalancing of it slightly, having a 60 minute MVP with the same variance as a 12 hour seems really weird. It's annoying killing a bunch of short spawn MVPs and the long spawns are impossible to find because its the same group/person just killing it all week

Tierra should give like 3-5x the badges cause that one is really the only "Fun" bg mode there is.

tbh i dont think thats a solution (will still being farmed)

 

the solution in my mind which is will be effective is to limit only 1 account per IP.

Nobody does Tierra and it's a little more difficult to farm it. I think you're getting it mixed up with Flavius.

I have no issue with farming during downtime. It's a bit much to expect 16 players be required to be there for BGs on a small server. The thing I like about Tierra is you can actually do stuff. Choose to attack/defend, take the mid flag/train guardians. One player can make a difference even if he's on an empty team if the other team doesnt do anything. But also that one person cant really go around interrupting gameplay the way you can in Flavius.

 

Botting has been a pretty big problem since BGs went in and is probably something that needs to get looked into also.

To bad they can't clean all the bg items and badges on those bot accounts while giving them a permanent quest tag banning the characters from doing bg in the future.

 

Maybe some sort of warning could work as a alternative. First offence (One week block from all BG modes+ Bg items and badges get wiped from character) Second offence (One Month + Bg blah items/badges byebye) Third offence (Six Months + Items badges wipe Warning for permenent ban from all BG modes.) Fourth and final Offence (Permanently banned from Battlegrounds.)
