While patching I am getting a "Failed to Connect to Server" pop up while attempting to patch. After clicking "Ok" it allows me to press the "play" button but when I logged in there were no NPC's amongst a few other things.

 

Help?

 

And YES, I did run it as administrator and still got the same error message.

You are experiencing different problems.

Alathea was trying to log in during maint, and probably not getting the error at the patcher screen, but rather at the login screen.

The patch issue is the usual DNS thing. Either edit your host file so it resolves reliably, or reload the ftp://patch1.playragnarok.com and ftp://patch2.playragnarok.com in IE until it loads, then patch RO; the reload in IE trick has to be repeated every time there are new patches.
