I think a good way to help those ignore those zeny sellers and stuffs is the option to have an ignore list. You got a friend list, why not ignore? only way to get rid of the constant spam bots is to shut off your chat completely, but what if you missed something? a request for a party or something?
I just don't understand how you can have a friend list without an ignore one, it's like light without dark.
A way to ignore other players

Technically there already is one, but it's external instead of internal like the friendlist.

I wish it wouldn't go away when you close the game, nor should it be fill-able (I can block 50% of the spammers in Pront, then it tells me my block list is full). It should be permanent, and if you block a real player, you should be able to unblock them at will, otherwise they just have to wait for you to relog to harass you again

completely agree.
I get no lag but once I go to town the lag is extreme.
Some think I am getting lag cause of all the vendors in Prontera but when I register them to ignore whispers the lag is COMPLETELY gone.
They could make a ignore list, or ban those advertisors (OR BOTH!!), since botting AND trading zeny for real money are both against the Terms of Service
