Hey guys, I have been having a pretty bad issue. Everytime I want to play RO, I open the Ragnarok, and then it starts downloading patches from 2011. Not sure why.

 

I had steam but I uninstalled it thinking it was a problem with steam and re-downloaded RO and installed on C:/Gravity

 

I have Windows 7

using old client patch (non-oct2014 client patch) will put you in making more thread like:

 

-Help 2011 2000332/100000 gm_23 file folder cant find,

-cant find Global C_IsSteamOn' (a nil value)

-Stop loading at 2013 12144565/100993473  gmd_25/23/13

-or something like that you create now~

I remember my laziness to download that client pacth in OCT2014 put me to continue fixing my 2013 patch and It didn't end well.

What if I already downloaded the whole client 4 days and I am still getting the same thing?

Giron-sama helped me out with this one.

First check your RO folder's patch2.txt file. Open it, scroll down and pick the latest update file's number. In my case I picked "2690" so all the patcher had to do was download January's patch. Then go to http://choobs.org/stuff/patch.php make sure the server is Chaos(renewal), enter the patch number, download the patch.ini. Copy/Cut paste it into your RO directory and replace the older one. Run the patcher again and it should get the latest files and start working again.
