If using normal arrow, then I use wind converter, attack element will be?

If using wind arrow, then I use water converter, attack element will be?

If using fire bow, normal arrow, attack element will be?

If using fire bow, fire arrow, then use water converter, attack element will be?

I read about this somewhere previously, but cannot trace the thread. Did not have the proper equipment/character to try it.

Answers and assistance are highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Wind

Water

Neutral

Water

The game always checks for Endows first.

If it has none, then it goes to check for the projectile weapon element.

If it has none, then it goes to check for the base weapon element.

If it has none, it defaults to Neutral.

Noted with thanks. 1 question tho:

If it has none, then it goes to check for the base weapon element.

fire bow and normal arrow, it goes neutral. arrow overrides bow element. true?

meaning that if I accidentally bring silver arrow to break emperium, I can use cursed water to actually land damage on emperium?

I think it didn't really explain it well up there.

Endows includes (Endows: Sage's Endows, Priest's Aspersio, Assassin's Enchant Poision, Taekwon's Mild Wind; Coverter type items: Elemental converters, Cursed Water)

If you're using a long ranged weapon, it goes to check the projectile weapon element (Arrow for Bows, Bullets for Guns) or if you're using Throwing weapons, it also goes to check the throwing/projectile weapon element (Ninja's Kunai(s), Assassin's Poison Daggers)

If you're not using a long ranged weapon, it goes to check for the base weapon element.

Note: if you're using a long ranged weapon, but the skill you're using is a melee type attack, it'd bypass the projectile weapon check.

An example for illustration: If you're using a Frozen Bow, and has equipped a Fire Arrow, but then you decide to use Bowling Bash (a forced melee skill), then the attack will be Water elemental.

Yes, the game always check for Endows first, I listed Cursed Water as one of the Endows. So yeah, your attack will be Shadow element even with Silver Arrow.

I still missed one point up there, sorry about this.

If you're using a skill instead of normal ctrl-click attacks, the skill will override everything if it forces an attribute. (Forced-melee or Forced-elemental)

So, using skills like Phantasmic Arrow will make your attack Ghost Elemental even if you're using a Rudra Bow and Arrow of Shadow, and used a Fire Converter. (Wrong example)

Hope you got it this time, and thanks for reading.

Noted. Thanks but since I'm planning to build a stalker and classic server does not have skills that enforce any element... i think

Yup, I see that you're from the Classic server and so I explained it the pre-Renewal mechanics.

Actually there are lots of skills that forces a certain element, but for ranged physical attacks, there aren't too many, I can only remember Phastasmic Arrow (Ghost), Magic Bullet (Ghost), Tomahawk Throwing (Wind).

There are quite a number of melee attacks that forces an elemental though but I don't think I want to list them all here.

Anyway, congrats for being unbanned, do not get involved with duped items again, especially if the price is too good to be true.  :P

Are you sure that Phantasmic Arrow is Ghost property? I'm sure as heck it's not Ghost-forced.

Oops, my bad. I was just explaining by memory. Guess I did get the skill mixed up, Phantasmic Arrow is not forced-Ghost. Should have double checked with the iROwiki or my Sniper.

Going to edit my previous post for this mistake. Thanks for pointing that out for me, NeoNilox.  :)

elemental bow are useless it doesn't affect attack

not unless you have the same elemental arrow

needed in that elemental bow to give 25% damage bonus effect.(but still low)

when it comes in bow im stuck using elven bow

when I try to compare the attack using fire arrow in the past.

+7 Burning bow + fire arrow = double attack damage is 2,400

+7 Elven bow + fire arrow = double attack damage is 3,200++

+7 Elven bow  + elven arrow = "" ""  "" is 4,800++
