The problem with both answers is I meant my cres.  Cres can't camo, and they are expected to use mermaid.   Also if the answer is actually taking off my shoes....that is the same as don't go off the roads to fix falling damage.  There comes a point where you have to say ok this is broken and it's not up to the community to fix it.  It's up to the devs.  It's also really hard to coordinate with a party when they either cannot or refuse to speak english.

 

How is it devs fault that you got higher wind runes than the tank? Should they remove Wind Runes altogether then?

 

I warned you that you wouldn't like that answer, but it's the one that makes more sense in the situation you're describing. You're the one that's leaving the tank behind, so solutions are to stop often (and near the tank so you don't get aggro) or to regulate your speed to match theirs. Or third option: have a priest use that speed buff so the tank isn't slow, but idk about cooldown and if it affects whole party you'd still be faster.

 

If you think there's a dev solution for the difference in speeds then I'd be glad to hear it, unless you meant the problem is that mobs are murderous machines and that disrupts your ability to stick with the others.

Make Good Wind Seeds easier to get...? I know this devalues the seed, and maybe smacks the face of those who spent $ for them, but...

It sure beats having a party that can't synchronize, which results in MP loss ad nauseum. What's so bad about making RNG more even?

Also, if the 'rare' stuff wasn't such a pain to come by, like boss DNA or good seeds, then we'd all have it, and bots would be out of business...

Sure, we'd all have less zenny; prices in AH might be lower in general, we'd have more comparable gear to our peers, & reduced imbalance.

I don't mind working to get something, but working to get something that may or may not be equally/fairly rewarded after countless tries? Pft.

I like the idea of seeds, but not the wide range of potency or the difficulty to roll a nice one. I look forward to a better seed system in the future.

P.S. Oh, and yes, the mobs are murderous machines. The Archers have a range so high that sometimes the one hitting me isn't even viewable.

And if I do see the one hitting me and I try to hit back from a similar range? Nope; no can do; too far. OR 'out of range' bug when close enough.

Now this answer i do like!   :no1:  I don't care if everyone has seeds the same level as mine.  I agree make RNG a little more even.  Make OP based more on skill/talent/knowin how to play, not RNG luck.  Make it so that if I am the current highest level in the game the regular mobs can't decimate me and my class so easily even when I am OP.  Let me get to the end of the map without an escort because as was pointed out the archers have such a long range they can kill from a mile away and you need a spy glass to see them.  Fix out of range bug....which btw I figued out what causes it.

I won't disagree with the seeds RNG. It really is painful to roll a seed, I'm even afraid of trying to roll higher than the 7 i got lol.

 

Mobs close to your level are always supposed to be a challenge, if you're ML30, you should expect mobs of level 75+ to be strong. Specially because regardless of your level, rangers and crescentia aren't meant to be tanks, and this whole game ended up based on team-work; you need an escort because the game was thought that way.

 

I won't say I like it, because I don't, but it's part of the logic the game uses.

 

Now, I hope you don't take this the wrong way but, if you figured out the Out of Range bug, why did you stop the post there instead of posting it so others can test, reproduce, make a video and report it? You know that's how bugs get fixed.

All I see is that after Level 50 RO2 got slapped with pre-Renewal RO transcendent grinding, which just means Gravity is repeating history with RO2.

All in all this grinding that we have right now could have been just fine if there was a meaningful incentive after getting Max level instead of just afk.

Like you literally had to grind and get there, to wear the strongest equipment up to date and then what? Do dungeons with punching bag bosses. No mechanics. High HP. Troll Loot.

I've released Saintess Aione from captivity and she's in Prontera again. The rest I can do is to AFK.

I really don't see the point of complaining over the increase of MP requirement. It is higher level ergo higher needed MP.

Quite frankly, it is easy to go from ML30 without MP to ML35 in a span of 24 hours during EXP Boost weekends with the help of EXP items of course. I was surprised that each mob would give me 90+ mp....I had work and so I skipped some EXP boost days and did some grinding on weekdays but I still got around 60+ mp per mob. However, a loss of 2k mp upon dying will really hurt but hey...you can get it again after a few kills.

So far,I have 3 chars who are ML30+ and the toughest to grind for me was from ML26 - 30.

I think it is quite necessary to belong in an active Guild where most of the members are of the same level and you can easily create your own party or you can also make friends with active same level characters.

Keep in mind that the situation you're describing (90+ mp per mob) is currently possible ONLY in the inner part of FP, this means a lot of "spot" arguments going on since the mobs in that place are far from enough for a lot of parties.

 

I said it once when I was testing the map pre-release and i still say it : that map should be an instance, the ammount and distribution of mobs is more Osi-like than a grinding map thought for many parties. At least with the bosses people can still make raids so they're not fighting over them as much, i think?

 

In any case, the requirements are high. It's not complaining about it being higher, but about it being twice what it should be. From ML19 to 20 it's 21.5k mp; from 20-21 it's 46.2k when it should be 23.1k following the same escalation used in all other levels.

In a few words no matter what is the exp event, when you hit ml20 you will see your grind doubled! And if the exp event end it will be 3× 4x depending on how much high was the exp event.

I doubt I will find the motivation to reach ML35 or don Edgga Gear...

I like the notion of making FP an instance, to reduce spot-clashes.

I like the notion of randomizing stars on MP/BP/Token-bought gear.

I like the notion of making quests more rewarding (tokens & zenny).

These changes would greatly add to my motivation... Just sayin'...

(Also, these changes might bring back a score of my pals that recently quit.)
