Very Irritating DG sucking wall bug.

this quite very annoying.. i'm experiencing this numerous times.. as move forward, my character suddenly turns back to these exact same walls and it's either i'm stuck there for a while or forever and the only option that i have is to tell my teammates to lure some mobs to me then use stealth so ill die. And it seems my teammates can't see me aswell cause one of my teammates said he can't see me

 

This two are some of those specific walls that drags me back as i'm ruinning and i'll get stuck there.

other places are in the bridge at the first boss and the entrance near the stairs after the 2nd boss.

 

are others experiencing this too? i've experienced it numerous times so i thought that it's time to report it

I'm going to make a video right now to show how annoying this is, it happens after this patch. I don't know which patch, but it should be one of these two patches causing it.

so it's officially a bug and its not just in DG.. well i hope it gets fixed soon.

I didn't run much dungeons so I encountered that bug only a few times but I agree they do happen.

My cleric once even stucked INTO the wall at the stair to Ulverick. I had to ask for a cart ride to get out.

 

Other times, I saw people stuck at the bridge to first boss too, luckily I managed to lure the mobs to him.

 

Another bug about dungeons, especially Cave of Ulverick is what people call: Screen bug.

When actually people lure the king to the stair but 1 or more poor guy in the group will still see him in the middle of room.

So he might run there just to realize that he'll soon be ganged up by all the mob.

Consequently, he runs back to the stair, following by all those mobs AND that kills the whole team.

 

^ This happens a lot.

About those 'corner' bug DestinyDeoxys has taken a video of, I'm pretty sure they've been around for over a month.

As I used to do a lot of valor quest, when I always cross these corners, last Jan.

I think these may be related to a patch where they changed the footprints of some objects in the game. I have experienced some of the Junon Polis ones a lot. Particularly around the fountain and near the drawbridge when leaving the city. The others I haven't had a problem with, but then I tend to drive on the walkway, and not on the grass. I have to yet to experience any of the ones in dungeons though.

Not only for this dungeon, it can find you at everywhere, especially corners.

This makes sense that it would cause an issue, because your mouse clicks are in the outside regions of the "allowed" map. You should be clicking on the bridge.

Each time you click, it tells the server where you are going. If you click in a "forbidden" area, it would only make sense that it would trigger the boundary system more frequently.

 

But I'm not saying there isn't an issue, there is definitely an issue with the boundary system and rebounding your character into wall/objects.

Like I said, there are definitely issues with the boundary system, but clicking outside the "allowed" boundary will increase the chances of triggering the issue.

Junon is a prime example of the boundaries around objects causing you to run into them; for example the Fountain.

In the Junon video it looks like you clicked before the pillar and then the stairs on the other side of the pillar at such an angle that your character attempted to run through the pillar and found he could not (the pillar was a forbidden zone). So he got stuck. In the first video it looks like it may be because you are using the walls to travel by that caused the issue.

 

This is definitely not intended, the ROSE Team is looking into this issue. Thank you for the detailed report and videos!

one more bug is items in the vending window and inventory disappeared which caused and error and will crash your client. Ill put a screenshot when I have experience it again.

try running in the middle of the path, to avoid snags at the walls.

as i have dual client in dg runs, i see this problem

 

ex. you are running ahead but other players or defferent window sees you running behind,

when you turn in corner actually the other player sees you suddenly turning to the wall behind not the actual path you see.

then your character starts to run back to that spot the other players/window sees you.

 

iv encountered this so what i do is actually look at my main char on my other charcter's screen to confirm location is correct.

 

the other bug when people you see attack far away from bosses when actually its near and causes deaths for the pt.

i think this happens when the main character or tanks/lurers atk the boss that is not yet seen by other players.

you well see that character stoping and the boss runs towards him/her

but actually its the oposite he/she is running to the boss.

iv noticed this a lot.

 

1st-2nd boss has no problems with this

as characters well see the boss b4 passing der way to the stairs

or bravely just charge in the boss like men and pirates.

the problem is at ulveric boss when the tank attacks the boss directly the other player cant see yet

the location get messed up, its good to lure the boss to a spot where the attackers sees ulveric.

 

hope this info helps sees some of the problem

and hope it gets fix.
