Wait a second, are we still going with the wild west theme or are we switching to turn-of-the-century America?

Since we're able to expand I want to cover a little more of the American experience. The idea that the US map will be like this

The general setting will be late 1800s America, where you still have western settings with encroaching modernity (Red Dead Redemption)

Liberty Harbor (1800s NY, Boston, Philidaelphia)

I

Train Dungeon Map

I

Wild West HubTown

I

Wild West Desert Field Map/Indian Village

I

Wild West Grand Canyon Dungeon

I

Wild West Mine dungeon

The discovery of a special element/gas/crystal out west provides a source of electricity prized in the more civilized areas of the country and fueling conflict over the rights to collect it.

In addition, the plan is to request monsters and dungeons for level 160+ characters. The question I have is what types of monsters (elemental property, skills, etc.) are underrepresented in RO's high level maps and dungeons that you'd like to see?

Plant and Fish races are severely lacking post level 120 (Kraken aside, I think Malangdo Culver HM is the only place high level fish are). Undead element is lacking post 120 too. Not sure how any of these would fit into the theme though.

plants: a regular event where the town gets overrun by beefed up mukas and rafflesias

undead you can have stronger versions of skel workers if you want to make the mine dungeon haunted

fish don't fit in a wild west theme though imo

You could have a flooded level of the mine where fish monsters exist, or have a map/dungeon connected to the harbor map.

For undead, our plan is to have a haunted ghost town in the wild west.

If we are going to have Fish race monsters somewhere, OdaFrog.gif Oda Frog is a thing that must exist. NPC, Quest Monster, Miniboss, something, anything at all. It would be glorious :v (Sprite by WarlockFier :v) Maybe altered to fit the wild west theme.

have the Alien Poring be a UFO poring! for the Cuteness and for the Lulz! or have the UFO Poring be a separate mob haha!

i was thinking of giving the map a Hollywood like place on it too, not the Modern one, but the one wherein the Entertainment/Movie Biz was starting out, it could fit in as it started at around 1900's and The American Old West Timeline spans from 1600's up to 1930. Plus the Bards and Dancers can have quests on that place as Performers.

Very quick, very dirty sketch of the building you pass through when you arrive on the ship from Rune Midgard

It is well done for a very dirty sketch. Though I think I can see what you mean, like some visible sketch lines are visible above the shorter top of the building. Phone pic isn't bad, can see it pretty clearly.

How about a sketchy Victorian-era travelling carnival with the content rotating in/out on a semi-annual  timer? It would be a good plug for go-fer quests & mini-games.

The discovery of a special element/gas/crystal out west provides a source of electricity prized in the more civilized areas of the country and fueling conflict over the rights to collect it.

Something revolving around an eccentric inventor developing this technology (patterned on Nikola Tesla & his work)?

Gunslinger-esque mercenaries that only function on these new maps?

There's a lot of pulp horror & crime fiction that can be exploited for content....

Some random suggestions :

• Desert Wolf Pet as quest Reward?

•New pvp map based on something like this

https://www.google.c...pnneYGK49gvtqM:

•New weapons for rebellions / guns, maybe something for PVP/WOE since KVM is useless

Need a Bat Masterson gunslinger set that would include a bowler hat and cane. However, if the gunslinger class were to be developed more, I'd prefer to see something along the lines of Stephen King's Dark Tower series rather than spaghetti western hodgepodge.

It would be amusing if the hot dog had a chance to poison you the way ice cream freezes you.

My father-in-law once bit into a hot dog only to find it was rancid. This coined an idiom used in my family that is comparable to "bit the dust". We say "bit the big green weenie".

Jackalope or Chupacabra?

Heavily inspired by Valkyria Chronicles

That's what came to mind for me. Also Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky.
