You may need to uninstall, then run the Installation program in Administrative mode (You can right click on the install and Run as Admin).

Once you have installed, you can patch the Gateway. If you still have the same error message then go to your Gateway folder. Right click on GatewayKeeper.exe and Run as Admin. Then once its patched it should load the Gateway.exe program. It should work, if not then try one last thing by Right clicking on Gateway.exe and set it to Run as Admin.

If you still have problems post any additional error messages you receive.

Its possible that the install you download is corrupt. Delete the install, clear your Temp folder and download the install once again and try.

Hey guys! I had the same exact problem but I finally managed to fix it by messing around with my firewalls. I don't know what anti-virus program you guys use but I use Windows Live OneCare.

What I did was open the Windows Live OneCare and clicked on the Change Settings button. Then under the firewalls tab, I clicked on the Advanced Settings and added the GateWayMain.exe file to allow it through the firewalls of my computer. I also added the GateWayKeeper.exe as well as the Gateway Installer through my firewalls just in case too. After I did all that, it seemed to work and I was able to laucnh the client.

You guys may not have Windows Live OneCare but you do have some sort of firewall right? Try adding those files that I added and try the GateWay again. If it still doesn't work, try removing them from the firewall acceptions list and then re-add them. Since GateWay is continually being updated, removing and re-adding those specific files will enable you to use it.

I'm not sure that this will help you, but it helped me and it couldn't hurt to tell you guys so here you go. I hope things go well because GateWay is a huge pain to deal with. Bye!

I'm having a problem too where it says The application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. What do I do?
