Please don't give this crap, I'm ok with assumptio scrolls just because they are disabled in castles. If you are able to disable all of them in castles you can sell whatever you want, just don't kill meta-builds please.

To be fair, this is one of the most generous boxes we have ever had. Nothing wrong with that, it should be a big success.

 

Last time BG was in was in a 1,500 kp box or w/e. Slot ads haven't been in yet, so that is sweet. Slotted mids are always needed. Couple of crap gears (like cresent helm) and a couple new gears. Also the big meta items like yellow ribbon (makes 75% range reduction possible for certain classes).

I know this is going to be shot down, but I think it would be cool if you guys got rid of Janeway. I'd really like classic to feel....classic, again.

Sure, it makes the game move along faster, but it's not classic. The old-school RO is about the painful grind, the struggle. Having nothing and then building yourself up and becoming rich and famous and powerful. This just feels like easy mode.
 

Also, it makes hunting in half the maps pointless.

I know this is going to be shot down, but I think it would be cool if you guys got rid of Janeway. I'd really like classic to feel....classic, again.

 

 

too late for that, this isn't vanilla classic since it opened (see revised spawns, etc etc)

 

 

Edit for new reply: Also ppl nowadays don't have the time, attention span or perseverance to do that anymore, don't get me wrong i like playing the game for prolonged periods of grinding time its just its not the same as before where everyone wouldn't mind. Grinding alone is boring now.

janeway has been very helpful in getting some fresh blood onto classic (via current iRO players or people from pRO). I think that's something that the server needs.

For me the fun of the grind was getting to know my characters, as well as the game itself. The mechanics, testing things out and seeing my characters' potential. But that honeymoon phase is wayyyy over. I like Classic most for hanging out with other vets and finally reaping the rewards of playing so many years in order to learn the game and figure out how I enjoy playing it most. I actually don't use Janeway, but I don't think using it necessarily has to rob newcomers of that experience many vets had on the original servers. I think there just needs to be [better] alternatives that can still give people that feeling of growing with their characters.

^ this. They are just giving us options to level, no one's forcing you to use janeway or thors or al3 or TI's, prize medals, etc etc. Pick your own path ^__^
