why i can´t end the quest?

when im in Einbroch field 09 i only can click on 1 of the 3 windows hat gives you clues to find O'Riley, after click 1 i cant continue with the quest, why is happening guys?

some people told me that they can even talk with misteryous man to give him the 30 shred of evidence

please fix this bug T.T

I am having the same problems here. I only was able to click one window with the dialog. rest are not working.

How do you restart a quest? I have tried right clicking but all it does is put the quest in the inactive window and vice versa.

 

 I tried speaking with the event npc while quest is inactive and he doesn't respond at all. So frustrating, I hope I get to finish this event.

I don't know how to restart a quest. The event Npc doesn't do anything now after I click on the second window part of the quest. Same on my other characters.

Steps I have taken.

 

Followed the irowiki 2015 st patricks guide exactly. Says if I get stuck on a window that shows no dialogue to go back to payon and restart the quest. I have that problem only when I try talking to him again no dialogue appears. I tried relogging/restarting the client but I still can't talk to him.

 

Before renewal there was an option to abandon a quest in the quest log. How do I restart a quest in renewal? This is so frustrating. Restarting quests back then was no problemo. I need my st patrick hats so I can attempt to +9 at least one later.

St Patricks quest it's pretty much bugged ?

 

I found two solutions !

 

1. What about patch the client with a new quest script the next maintenance. 

 

2. Make a npc to trade the coins without the need of doing comodo field 7 step when u reach o O'Riley. What about making a Npc that trade the silver and gold coins for green Ales, even if you don't get the event hat.

I want my hats not ale. I have 18 characters made for this purpose and simply don't have funds to buy them from other players. I am entitled to complain since I also spend money on this game on my main account. It's like legit players get the big F U while the botters remain prosperous. I just got back in this game for fun and have noticed not much has changed in the last decade.

I'm trying to solve the mystery of how to restart a quest, as well. I noticed that if you click on View Quest Window, a Delete option appears when you right click the quests on your screen. However, my initial excitement faded when I realized this only sends them back to the Inactivate window.

 

My quest log is littered with quests from past events that just wont go away. There seems to be no way to get rid of them, only put them in the inactive window.

Yes that's what I noticed about the current quest log. What reason do we have to make a quest inactive if we no longer want or can't do them.

if you were bugged prior to the emergency maints to fix the event, you're supposed to be able to restart the quest by talking to agent York in payon. if you're still unable to then I have no idea and your best bet is to ask about this in the tiki tues thread (since it's a temp event, support tickets probably aren't the best way to go)

I didn't bother with the quest until after it was fixed so I have not encountered these problems.

The same thing that happens when you click a window with no dialogue is what I see when I try talking to the NPC in payon. I don't know what thread you're talking about but this one is getting bumped.

 

Some moderators should have seen this at least once this morning.

GMs don't respond to threads here (or even read them probably); CMs rarely post here either. regular mods can't do anything more besides letting the CMs know of the issue but like I said, since this is a temp event you are better off posting in the next tiki tues thread when it comes up (should definitely be up by Monday) so that they can take a look at fixing it during the next maint.

I found some vip members ! From my guild can do the quest !

 

It's only for vip costumers or its free for ALL

Man totally sure vip members have acces to the quest ! 

My alliance has vip status and also has finished the quest

Can you fix the bug for non vip members  !! asap

have you tried doing the quest in the past couple days on a completely fresh non-vip char (doesn't have quest in years past, etc)? if not, try that first; it would be quite weird for it to only work for VIP accounts.

Yes i tried several chars a bio, a linker, a ministrel a rune knight a paladin !

All have non vip status

 

My friends that have vip status as storm87 and fiio ! Have completed the quest without  problems on its vip status ! 

 

And yes i completed the quest in '11 i have no bugged entry's  for the last events ! !  

i even manage to get like 5000 ales that year ! 

Call me ale whore but it's the only event where u can get zeny !

well actually if you've completed the quest in years past you probably won't be able to do it this time around since it's the same quest as the 2011 one.
