Also, all those jerks playing those Zynga games can get married regardless of gender. If a game like this did it, it might gain publicity in people opposing it, then the word will get out that this game exists.

They could implement it easily, I think. So not to touch on controversy, they could just rename the skills and call it the Partner system.
