does  turning on your effect (/effect) crash your RO client?

Mine does almost w/out fail.

Some occasion in eden 1 or 2, my client crashed without effect on.

what's the cause of these crashes???

do i need to reinstall RO?

 

any solutions??

No, but getting Hallucination with /effect on does unspeakable things to my client. Until, through the -_-storm, I manage to turn effects off

You probably need to reinstall the game. Getting a fresh client may do the magic.

Only recently did I get to experience Hallucination without the horrifying Curse of A Single Frame... and it's actually quite neat! Even playable!

did you plug in the Flash Drive containing RO into a potato?

was running it installed on work comp which is a desktop with windows 7

 

my home machine has xp, and it can't deal with hallucination yet somehow this crappy dell at work could

i hope RO doesn't have any compatibility issues... if it does, it means no effect for me forever and ever..........................

RO does have compatibility issues. It's an old game. What's your OS btw?

either ur client need to reinstall, or ur RAM need to be upgraded..
