Can't be used in Magic Gear

Common phase when playing mechanic class yet overlooked on the wiki.

Must be because pretty much all the mechanic skills are acquired in mado as shown above you just cant cast them.

 

It must be noted as well that priests cannot heal Mechanics who are in Mado suits so Mado Mechanics would have to use Healing Items on their own
Another downside to the Madogear is that the Mechanic loses the Madogear upon death, which can be a problem when inside instance dungeons such as Endless Tower

Healing? Well when you can self heal 30k for 2k you don't need to heal yet we still have "overheating" issues which disables our nature regen.
Does it increase explosive damage? No its just a debuff

But above their is a spirit for a dead mado... also an image of a dead mechanic who was second before in a mado.

Its amazing how thing just disappear.

Who likes axe mechanic skills in mado?

Too bad they dont sync, even axe boom misses on a lunatic removing your ability to level in BIO.

Since you cannot push frenzy back while under attack from range.

 

 

Brings me to my last point

Pile Bunker and Neutral Field, Two of the strongers WOE abilitys in the game. Removing all RG defensive buffs and nullifying 100% ranged damage.

 

Yet who wants to play a class who is this bugged, this overlooked and infact this underpowered.

You think unlocking the potential of this class would be bad? if anything you would earn more money from people actually taking an interest in building a 175.
Arrow storm's 500k AOE make any class look bad...

fyi the overheat thing is fixed in kRO and they can use the Magma Eruption or w/e skill inside a Mado.

Kinda been scratching my head for a bit to decipher whether OP was talking crap about robots or was liking it. I think he likes robots, but his wording is a bit odd. I don't know what warranted this thread. Mechs are neither overrated nor underrated, we know our shortcomings, and most of us who play the class have become adjusted to it enough to generally like it. It's not the best class, but we'll be receiving buffs in near future. It'll come I suspect either fall or winter of this year guessing from the update thread, in regards to some of our lesser effective skills like Flame Launcher and Axe Tornado. So I disagree that kRO is "killing" the class, in fact, Mechs and Royal Guards in the past year or two have been pretty popular over there.

Funny how ranger remains the only class that can summon their own mount. But other class who also depend on their mount, cant do that.

Take the bulls by the horn and take control of the situation. That is the mechanics way.

 

kRO.... those -snip- have no idea how to run into the middle of a guild and get rekt.

I play DOTA2 and i know how SEA plays games. Sit on the sidelines and watch.

So no wonder kRO devs have no idea what they are doing with the class or even bother to "play" it!

 

#1 Fix the "loss mount of death" Issue, this is garbage! (the spirit is there, use it, stop excluding us from events and guild partys)
#2 Give mados blacksmith abilitys, shatterstrike, AR, thrust, perfection. We can get them anyways so stop been a douchbag about it!

#3 Fix the Axe Boom Bug with Neutral field and any-other field bugs

#4 FIX HOVER FFS JUST FIX IT, THIS IS HOW WE MVP GENS CNT AND MAKE ZENY TO FUEL US!
#5 Earn $USD because more people will level and gear new mechanics

 

After all that is done maybe you can look at bringing RWC back, with renewal classes since you will have your pre-renewal sage class.
And as for SD and potential 300k AOE, Arrow shower deals 500k and is spamable so stop crying like a little bitch about your lame theory crafting.
Even with all these repairs the class wont surpass SURA or RANGER in usefulness.

How many instances, ET runs or God creation partys are you invited too.

How many GM sponsored events do you attend.

 

Infact what use are you as an active mado mechanic over say an alt tab'd one.

1) Do you have any idea / suggestion about when iRO will receive the Verus Update? This update will bring significant equips to mechanic class.
@Oda: Verus Update is the Episode 15.1 (kRO got it July 4th, 2013)

It's going to be a while before we receive episode 15.

I don't expect it for the next 2 years.

So...Mechs only if you really like the class to handle with all the bugs. I like it, I always played with one, but the fact is that you will spend a lot (zeny and time) to try to make life a little easier, while you can do the same stuff spending a lot less with other classes.

And using SD each 5 min (just talking about PvM content), losing Mado after it and then tp to town to get another robo is not gg, it's fail.

there should be an option to rebuild mado. for doing instances, deep and long dungeons. just make something like mado parts which has 1000 weight, when you double click it you automatically riding your mado back.
