Why didn't you guys implement these lower end New World gears first instead, Nydhoggur's Shadow Garb? The bigger question is, are we ever going to get these implemented in classic?

It's very very strange, there's still nothing in the scripting of the item itself that would cause this to happen. We were able to replicate this by creating 2 of the cursed armor and switching between them. Equipping and unequipping the Cursed armor seems to be what slows the character. It's possible that the game could be reading the "Curse" in the equipment name, we're going to try creating a new item with a different item name in the DB and give a chance for users to trade them in.

We found the issue with the cursed armor and it is now fixed! Any users who were slowed should be fixed now.

If you have a hard time picking hats for the new boxes, someone posted last year a list of the pre-renewal headgear we are missing. We already got many of those in game but there are still alot of interesting ones to add.

For the headgears that required a code from an Archbishop figurine or DS game if you have them on Renewal I can transfer them to a classic character. For the Zodiac headgears I do want to get them back in the shop. It makes more sense to have the zodiac only boxes instead of having to put them into lucky boxes and groove packs every month.

oh god if you put a zodiac box i will spend an unhealthy amount of cash on this game. looks like i can kiss the semblance of a social life i have goodbye.    MUST COLLECT THEM ALL.

Probably unrelated, but will there be a change in green ale effect too after 15 April?

 

The item's description is that it will decrease to 10% on April 9, 2013.

 

I wasn't here last year so I don't know what will happen to green ale after event ends.
