I have a a BS, and was thinking of forging some weapons for the rest of my characters, namely level 3 weapons, but I'm not very clear on the success formula. I checked the irowiki, and even the forging page says the formula isn't exactly accurate for forging. So I had a few questions:
#1-is it still close to accurate?
#2-If it is, it says that each point in Dex and luck is believed to add 0.1%. Now, one of my random characters has 53+13 dex. The wiki doesn't mention bonuses or anything, so would this be considered 66? Or would the +13 be calculated differently, if at all?
Obviously, being a level 71/34 non-trans with minimal luck/dex gear, I'm far from ready to forge. But if I'm understanding this correctly, here's what my success rate would be currently without buffs, strings, food, etc.:
Dex=53+13 (66 total: 66x0.1) +6.6%
Luck=46+8 (54 total: 54x0.1) +5.4%
Job=34 (34x0.2) +6.8
Skill level=3 +30%
Weapon Research=10 +10%
Ori Research=5 +5%
Emp Anvil= +10%
Weapon level=3 -30%
Star Crumbx2 (-15x2) -30%
Ele Stone= -20%
6.6+5.4+6.8+30+10+5+10-30-30-20= -6.2 overall success rate, Is this correct?
