And CoolSam has apoint we shouldnt have an Element event but, What about the 2 boxes, instead of one box you get two?

the only thing I can think of in terms of element farming is getting 8 keys or more per day instead of 4.  And I actually do like the idea of getting more than 1 box for the same trade.

 

It's a benefit for farmers even if they have to farm again.

maybe have the mobs drop double rings or something I don't know.

Oh, i didnt think of the 8 key idea.. thats also really good idea.

for the Rings thats a bit harder to compensate, because what if they already bought the hunches

Double ring drop sounds pretty good, cause the most daunting part of f6 ring farming is the sheer number of runs you would have to do.

 

Example is for those 2 weeks you just ran 300+ runs. Having to do those 300+ runs again would be crazy because in essence you just farmed yourself 2 sets of pair.

 

Having a double drop ring would in the end give you the same amount of rings you originally would have.

 

 

Unfortunately, like all compensation, this opens up for people who would be able to achieve more than they orginally would have.

 

ie. Ran 0 runs during those 2 weeks, but now only having to do 150 runs instead of the original 300.

And i won't comment this attempt of example using historical facts.

I just pointed out that the game IS (and will ever be) heavily farm dependent, and stacking binary data is ,indeed, needed to do something in this game if you wanna do it fast, because spending 1 hour killing mobs at Elga doesnt seem fun at all.

 

Oh, try to do a Medals with cash or Complete Quests with cash. 

 

Implying I didn't know Dragon Saga is about grinding with a "welcome to [...]" indeed sounded like an attack, as I've played enough time to at least know that much. Try telling any regular player the same thing, you'll see he'll at least be as fed up as I was. However, I was more annoyed by the fact that merely quoting someone made you think I also was thinking that way, which I was referring to with what you called "historical facts" (are my neighbours historical facts ?).

 

Moreover, doing things fast still has nothing to do with having fun, and thus playing, as I see it, which was the point of my first comment. And I heard you should spend way more than an hour in Elga's lair to collect the materials you need in order to craft a weapon out of them, but I might be wrong.

As for the medals and quests, I'd really like to see a spar between a player having completed every single quest and collected every single medal, and another one who paid his +20 legendary gear full of elemental socket cards. Or their effectiveness at slaying any amount of monster, or Elga, anything really. Don't you think the second one will have some kind of an advantage ? While it's true you can't collect medals with only cash, I kinda doubt they're being of any use compared to an endgame gear.

 

What's more, I may as well "just point out" the fact that your phrasing ("Welcome to...") isn't ever used in a fair debate, but plenty when trying to ridicule an opponent. Or your use of "attempt at [...]" in order to, once more, try and lessen the impact of my words. Also the fact that you wouldn't have posted such a short comment if you wanted to argue instead of just provoke me.

I guess you'll excuse me for using a few dirty tricks such as the ones I'm referring to.

Which is exactly what I'm talking about when asking you to please think about it without rushing ; Popcorn and the support team already are at it, and while it's true we are concerned as players, WP also is concerned as a producer. With the recent increase in population, they can't just let people go ; surely they'll think about something beneficiary to players.

And I must assure you that I aren't trolling in any way ; at least I don't see it that way.

Again I'm sorry Homurasan i didn't mean to offend or attack you at any point and anyone who tries to tell me that farming could be considered a waste of time while playing this game i would say the same thing.

Your statement could sound like an attack too since if you want to beat Elga, or have a chance at EW or BSQ you have to stack binary data and for some people this is what they want and if you play you will stack binary data at some point.

Again, I won't comment those historical examples you made. 

 

And you are exactly right! As you see it, doing fast things isn't fun. We don't share the same opinion.

I was not talking about crafting a weapon, simply defeating Elga already requires you to be fast (If I'm not mistaken 42 mins).

What are you talking about? I didn't compare anything! I just said that having cash isn't a requirement to have Medals or Complete Quests.

yeah I think 8 element keys is ok, since even with the amount of keys, not everyone will farm them all, but the farmers might.  And also honestly it's making up for the 2 weeks that have "disappeared" from the server.  Honestly I think it should be more than 8 keys.

 

Maybe provide scrolls for entering f6?

I don't think Defensive order scrolls is the problem, it's the time it took to get the rings

I will post more informations about further compensation plans as soon as every detail is worked out. Like other players already assumed correctly we're quite busy at the moment. 

 

This desaster has hit everyone of us (players as well as the staff) very hard. We would highly appreciate your understanding that we need a bit of time to catch things up.

Hello Reqt, hello Community,

 

I'm feeling that I should make a statement regarding this.

 

I'm fine being in the frontline. The day I decided to become a VMod (mainly for Dragon Saga) I was aware that there are not only good times to come. I decided to become a VMod because the game and community as a meaning for me. Same for the staff. They're doing a hard work at the moment and I'm glad to be able to be in the frontline at the moment. Sure, it's not always easy, but like in real life sometimes things simply happen. Good ones and bad ones. And also like in real life, when there are bad times, I can't simply turn around and hide. It's all about sticking to the game, the community and the staff. In good and bad times.

 

If I ever have the feeling that I need support, I'm sure I would get it. But at the moment I'm doing fine and don't feel the need to be supported.

 

As for the "wait" part, I don't have to wait. I always get important information on time. Sure, in unclear situations, like the current desaster nobody had really clear information. In other words I had to wait like you for the staff to get an overview regarding the whole situation and for confirmed informations. No one in staff wants to give out false or factodial informations. So I passed on the information I got immediately. And this is what I always do.

 

It doesn't matter if any information is given out by me or any GM or CM. I always post the same informations you would get from a GM or CM. One example for this was my statement regarding the IM refund, another one is the linking of this announcement on Facebook and the official Dragon Saga website within the statement from our producer.

 

Yes, I'm just a volunteer. I don't get paid for what I do, but I do it with hear and soul to support the community, the game AND the staff. In good times and in the same amount in bad times.

 

At this point I just want to thank everyone of you being such an understanding community! Thank you!

 

 

Regarding your suggestions in the different topics, they have been seen and forwarded. It's now the decision of the production team what will happen in which way.

 

I will post any updates regarding this as soon as I get them - like always.
