I decided to give it a try and use for some safety runs and noticed that even though the description says that it gives Cloaking lvl.5, in fact it works as lvl.1 - draining 2 SP/sec and wearing off when you try to move away the wall.

Is it bugged or its description is wrong?

I see this in description on divine pride, not sure if it's in-game on card, but you can check:

"If the user has not
learned level 3 or higher
Cloaking skill or if
the user is not
an Assassin, this card
allows the user to use
the skill only when being
near to a wall."

Well, as I understand, it means that unless the character meets this condition, the effect will activate only when you're next to the wall (which is true, it activated for me that way). Even if we ignore this part, it's still supposed to drain at lower rate, for Level 5.

I doubt the game is that clever where it can give you level 5 cloak drain rate while still restricting non-assassin classes to wall only activation. odds are you will be getting sp drained according to whatever cloak level you are using.

a +9 egg shell hat will allow one to stay in cloak permanently if their sp pool is high enough.

So, yeah, that's my point that the card seems to use wrong level (which is level 1).

Can we fix this issue? Or at least change card description so other players won't be tricked as me.

Maybe -- it uses the highest level of cloak known by the user (minimum 1, maximum 5)

there's an item description fix thread you can post in. also, several members of the community (incl. Jaye) have been updating the iro db to properly reflect the item properties, even if the ingame one is wrong.

Maybe, but right now the description definitely doesn't reflect the case so some change would be good to have, in one or other way,

Yes, I know about description thread, I just wanted to verify first that the problem isn't in my reading abilities but in the way this card works/was described.

In general, the "script" of the item is what came from kRO and never modified, and the translation of the "description" was done locally and is 2nd hand since its been written once, then re-written by another person in another language; what does this mean? It means the effect is almost never wrong (unless its also screwed up on kRO), but the description is often mistranslated/wrong. So what does that really mean for us? It means if the effect differs from the description, it is usually the description that is wrong, not the other way around.

Is this a better description?

Yes, this one looks better, though we don't know for sure if it's precise (on the other hand, many skills work same way) unless someone tested it. Anyway, this one is definitely better than old one. Thanks!
