Try the following:

Warning: Don't follow these instructions if you last updated your client before 2017/2/16 because doing so will cause your client to skip installing one or more updates.

  • Download the following file:

    IRO client updates (2017-02-16 to 2017-05-25).zip
  • Extract the Zip archive that you downloaded in the previous step into the client installation folder1.
  • Close any and all open clients.
  • Download the following file:

    patch.inf
  • Move the file that you downloaded in the previous step into the client installation folder, and replace the existing version of the file.
  • Open the Renewal client.

 

It worked, now i can play more relaxed, thank you very much. :)

1. Have you tried resetting Internet Explorer's configuration?

2. Can you download the following file using Internet Explorer?:

2017-03-30data_gm_desc_r2.rgz

Note: You must use Internet Explorer because the updater uses it to fetch updates.

3. Can you download the file using Chrome or Firefox?

 

1. I tried but still Failed to Connect Patch Server

 

2. I can download it using Internet Explorer

 

3. I tried in Google Chorme after 2-3 times, I can download it too..

 

After that I tried to open Ragnarok again and still, failed to connect to patch server..

I recommend that you manually update your client.

By the way, what kind of internet connection are you using?

Hi, I already try your solution but honestly it doesn't work too..

So I start to read again from page one and I see Appendix 1, after I follow your instruction in Appendix 1, violaa, it works.. :heh:  :heh:

it's odd I just installed the restart client and got the side by side error again.

 

It's odd because the other client still worked no problem.

 

So I uninstalled it and installed it in the same folder as the other and it seems to have fixed the problem.

 

 

  Well strike that it didn't solve anything.  It just started launching the normal renewal client no matter what so I uninstalled it and installed in another folder on the same drive.

 

  Now it seems to be dowloading updates from 2011 and even when it finishes and says there was a runtime error that forced it to close/stop.  When I try to relaunch it repeats.

 

  This is happening with the ReStart client so can someone tell me how to get it fixed?

Unfortunately, you've almost certainly corrupted both of your client installations by attempting to merge them into a single folder.

Try the following:
  • Reinstall the Renewal and Classic client into a new folder.
  • Reinstall the Restart client into a new folder.
  • Copy the files Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest and Microsoft.VC90.MFC.manifest from the Renewal and Classic client installation folder into the Restart client installation folder.
  • Open the Restart client.

You must install the 2008 SP1 version of the library, and not a different version.

Your connections to the update server are being blocked by either your ISP or WarpPortal. Unfortunately, the only practical solution to this problem is to use a VPN or a different internet connection (such as a cellular network) to update the client.

the webpage is not loading every time, but anyway i solved it just deleting and reinstalling for 4/5 times the game, now is working, thanks for the prompt answer.

Try the following:
  • ​Navigate to the client installation folder1 in File Explorer/Windows Explorer.
  • Open the file named Setup.exe.
  • Ensure that the options BGM volume and Effect volume are enabled, and that the option No sound is disabled.
  • Press OK twice.

hello, i have this problem. i always got "disconnected from server" for days now. the patcher stop in 2017-02-16. after i choose the server-select char the "disconnected from server" pop out.

im using vpn because im in china right now. how to fix this? :/

i can connect all the FTP servers listed under item 2, reset my internet explorer's configuration and do appendix 1 but still failed to connect to patch server. i need help

I have just downloaded the game and when it downloads the data it doesn't get completed and then it shows a message that says NO CLIENTINFO FILE!!

 

any solution pls? :(
