I'm glad others can see I have a style. I think the more I draw, the more I'll see it too.
I'm not sure how I want to use my degree yet; you have to have more education to really use an art history degree, and even then the basic options made available are not to my liking. Like one of my professors, I have interest in studying old medical records and illuminated manuscripts, or something like that. But I also hope to use my fine art experience as well.
One of the most important things about art is learning how to observe and then recreating it in a way that is unique to the individual. I'd say you've got originality down to a T, even if you improve in the future.
Also, the new works you posted are awesome! The color palletes used are interesting and create a very haunting atmosphere. Are you going to do a series?
Surely you will. I think it's safe to say that every artist have a unique touch to their creations and oftentimes it's not the artist themself that notices that unique and personal style. I myself didn't think I had mine until folks started to point it out.
And thank you! I always feel fulfilled each time somebody takes notice of the atmosphere that I intend to invoke in my works. It means that I somehow managed to pull the task off just fine. The two pieces are purposed to illustrate certain transcendent performer skills as I have imagined them, namely: Marionette Control and Tarot Card of Fate. At the same time the two pieces, as well as the others that will follow, showcase the characters for my collaboration project with Saralen. Each individual image gives some hint on the featured character's story.

No GX on my list yet, but if you want to use your slot reservation for that art style, I'll work on it. I'll pm you the commission details of that art style if you you want it.
