Today's Tiki Tuesday actually has some real South Seas flavor with the discovery of a great Tiki eatery that has been in the Los Angeles area since the 1930s!

 

Damon's Steak house is a place I've heard about but not had the chance to visit. I went this Sunday and had a great time! It's got a lot of authentic atmosphere and some pretty tasty eats.

 

 

Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich with housemade garlic potato chips and Damon's Hawaiian style mai tai.

hey Oda

1) can you take a look at the nightmare clock tower mob exp? it's been reported on the BLOB but the exp does not appear to be affected by the current server exp bonuses.

2) There's been some pretty lively discussion around thanatos tower this week. it's been pointed out that kRO has done away with the 5 account requirement ages ago; when can we expect to see this make it into iRO? patch notes: http://forums.irowik...419&postcount=1

3) you were asking for suggestions of anniversary quests to bring back, would it be possible to have these quests make a reappearance:

wouldn't mind having the red beret quest come back too but it's fine if it's too recent.

4) wanted to bring this up again; any possibility of adjusting the exp award for the adventurer guild quests in the alliance camp to be more inline with bounty boards? they give like 200k exp (non-vip) for killing 100 pom spiders which is pitiful.

5) Apparently with the last maint there were several pRO-only equipment/consumables that were disabled. thread is here. While I don't see anything wrong with disabling these things, and in fact this will make the server healthier and more balanced in the long run, there should be some announcement or topic somewhere that lists gears that have been disabled or will be disabled so that people don't spend tons of zeny/equips trading for items that end up being completely useless.

6) I think around this time last year, WP had that sweet anniversary WPE promotion with the 6 month subscription; any possibility of that coming back in the next few weeks? I just reupped my VIP but I'd definitely pick that up again.

1) Did you have a chance to look at the BBcode stuff yet?

 

No. 

2) I can't say I care about costumes aesthetically much, but if there ever was one I did care about it would be the Costume Aura of Remnant Thoughts(Bio Whisp)

We understand that pRO gears are bound to be nerfed in one way or another (We wish we were notified beforehand) , if the items will be practically useless, may we request for it to be exchanged to something little like certs or enriched eluniums so that it won't just gather rust in storage?

 

I know that the goal is to make the server as healthy as possible but the incident put a ripple effect not only on Thor's market and the players gameplay but also the morale of the people who hold no security or anything to ensure that we will know which item will be nerfed next. Folks from Chaos advised us to match the gears with Thor to compare if it will likely stay or not but If I recall , these items will be under review and not being nerfed unless that was the actual decision to it.

 

We'll be talking internally about policy for these items and will try to announce changes in advance.

Is it possible to make the 12th anniversary costumes lose their bonus stats when they expire, instead of having the item get deleted? I think many people would agree that they'd like to keep em even without stats.

(1) Are we allowed to change email address (attached to WP account) TWICE? I changed the email address of my main account last year but I am having difficulty accessing that email address cause my phone was stolen (or lost) right now. But I can still log in on my Support account registered to that email.

 

If YES, should I use the SAME support account email (the one I'm having problem access to) or do I need to make another support account if I request to change email again? For now, I am trying to retrieve the said email address cause I know changing email is a serious request. But I am considering the worst case scenario.

 

(2) When you update the Boxter, can you pls include both the contents of MAY GROOVE BOX and JUNE LUCKY BOX to the list that Grandma accepts? Looking at this list, I think you can change up to 10 slots (Boxter iRO Wiki) I am thinking something like this: 

Mental Potions

Scooter Hat

Ancient Admiral

Isabella Blue Ears

Sedora Hat

Loki's Assassin Mask

Chilly Breath

Costume: Wings of Victory

Costume: Gryphon Hat

(and possibly Girl's Naivety/Tomboy/Fish in Mouth/Amistr Bag)

 

Those are the ones with the lowest prices from Ragial. Putting Blush[1] and Skull Cap[1] is a waste of space since they're in demand.

 

I will ask Campitor if we can have those changes put in.

Will you guys give a list of items to be nerfed in Thor? Just like he said, it will destroy the server if left announced as if they've been feeling scammed for this.

Back in pRO (here I go again ), I haven't encountered any problems regarding to pets in my almost 11 years in my RO experience. Any idea what causes these problems? It will be immediately be taking action right after the Thor DC fix?

It's something that is being handled on a case by case basis. There are a lot of headgears and equipment that Chaos players want to see that is coming from Thor but in order for these to ever be made available on our servers again we have to adjust them for Chaos' WoE/PVP environment. Otherwise this would mean we'd have to keep the effects separate on two servers (difficult to keep track of, buggy) or never make them available for sale again (would hurt Thor players who never had the chance to get them). I am sorry if players on Thor paid a lot of money for these items, but on our service these items will have to be subject to change.

With the excess job points, I'm forced to take the Double Attack skill which is a "must not" to add skill..

 

I'm really hoping this can be resolved asap.

1) Can you make the old event items "Invasion Book" and "To Serve Man" sellable to NPCs?

Yes

2) Is there a reason that Takewon Kids cannot receive higher grade Eden Equipment (Ur's Request)? You can complete the quests, but the Blacksmith NPC will not give you any equipment and state that something's gone wrong.

I honestly considering doing that but Im still being told that the issue will be fixed every after maintenance..
I do trust the GMs as well, well, or im just to lazy to create a new one..
No will to be exact...

Do I have the right to ask compensation if this cant be fixed? Just checking and not trying to be demanding

 

It's something we will work on, but priority was on characters who didn't have enough skill points and the characters that are still stuck.

Just wanted to let you know that buying poison bottles with anniversary tickets gave me unknown item apple on chaos.

Do we have to send in tickets to verify new mvp cards found? seems like everyone wants a verification ticket before trading anything mvp card related.

 

Unless you're getting really good screenshots of when this MVP card is dropping it's a safer bet to have it verified before transactions go through.

just have the GMs facilitate the transaction then since the mvp card would be vetted automatically as part of the process. if the buyer insists on a check then there's nothing that you can do on your end no matter what proof you provide them.

You recently shared the drop rates for Classic Loki. Some of the equipment rates, such as Scalpel and Thorny Buckler, are extremely low at 0.01%. Could these rates be increased up to their original values, or at least to something less terrible?

 

Yes, there are a lot of drop rates that will need to be discussed with the community. Many of them were designed for early to mid game economy after we had launched, but could certainly be re-evaluated.

We all just want the list. People who dont know whats nerfed and whats not ends up being scammed. Or something like that

Should we expect another nerfing soon? We pretty much know which gears are likely to lose or reduce effect we just want to know when .

 

And oh yes , when can we expect Turkey on head to be available? I gave up on FAW since it didn't return this month

I opened about 3 of them so far and had no luck to get FAW . I need about 3 of them since I only have an EA wing
