What gear would you recommend for a level 80 soldier wanting to become a knight?

I can craft anything you need. Lvl 85 is it? gear with str 20 ap 30 would be great for damage, but mspeed 50 def 75 would make you tanky and mobile. Or a mix.

 

Do you have an AOE on another account? Leveling a knight will be tough, you'll pretty much have to luck into a party w a cleric and a lot of AOE.

Not for me personally but for a friend who im playing with, im new so my knowledge of stats and stuff is limited.
Would it be easier to train if they became a champion rather than a knight?

Knights can still train, simply because they are more tankier compared to other classes. If you went for champion class, you will not be able to change to knight class if you wished it so during your 2nd job quest.
